This place is otherworldly in its beauty and remoteness; it is simply a must-visit. If you want a taste of Patagonia, but with creature comforts at hand, this is your best choice. Just be forewarned: Mid-Dec. till the end of January is horsefly and midge season, and they do abound here, alas. If you get out on the lake in... More

Indeed it was a wonderful trip across Lago Todos los Santos: no mobile phone reception, just enjoying the lake and the surrounding scenery / nature. This no 'connectedness' , no social media for a while is lovely: just being with your couple or friends and other travelers, with nature, the moment in time!

It is a beautiful lake with a green water. There are islands, waterfalls, vulcanos and animals to see in this tour.

We were on a coach following the shores of Lake Llanquihue to Petrohue on Todos los Santos Lake. Also known as the emerald lake because it is fed by glacier water. We boarded a catamaran a modern boat with small café and lots of seating on two levels. Lovely views of the various volcanoes, Osborne, Pu Tiagugudo and Tronado. It... More

We took a boattrip on this beautiful lake and we enjoyed it so much. The weather was sunny with blue sky and the volcanos reflected in the water. Do not miss this!

We took the gravel road to the parking lot and walked around for a bit. Unless you are going on a boat trip or camping there I would not bother going.

The last 4 miles/6 km are on a wide track road, but don't let that stop you going to the lake. It's a spectacular experience - and that's before you get there because you mostly follow the rushing river. The lake itself is worth spending time at, or on!
