In sure hundreds of rreviews tell a very similar story, and here is another vote for a great rafting half day experience. Such fun and excitement, great goddess and good organization.

Delivered as promised with a taste for more.

My travel agent booked this rafting trip the morning after the 11 hour flight from LAX to Santiago - and the internal flight and travel by car to Puerto Varas. We were exhausted and couldn't believe we had a 8am pick up. Well, it was the best way to get rid of Jet Lag. This outfitter is extremely professional and your safety is their number one priority. The trip was full of adrenaline, fun - and incredible sightseeing. I highly recommend this! And the guides were extraordinary.

Fantastic company that provides an authentic and enjoyable rafting experience, with beautiful scenery surrounding the river. We chose this activity as a shore excursion while on a Celebrity Cruise. The staff who run the operation are amazing! They provided top-quality, safety instruction prior to leaving for the river that was vitally important for both first-time rafters and those with prior experience. The equipment provided included wet suits to protect you from the cold water temperatures. We enjoyed our time on the river and then returned to their cafe to find beer and snacks waiting for us. Thank you all for a fantastic time!

This was an amazing experience! Our group of 7 joined a group of locals to whitewater raft. Most of the group had never rafted and the guides did a great job easing them into the mechanics of rafting. Where else can you raft in the shadow of 3 volcanos??

I did a 1 day sea kayak tour (unfortunately the weather was terrible the day before, so they had to cancel the 2day trip, which I was previously booked)
Astonishing views from a very different perspective, not much effort paddling, and an amazing team of experts. Plus, we stopped by a farm, owned by the same family since the early settlers arrived, no only to have lunch but also to understand a little bit more about their culture. Highly recommended

If you’re looking for an adventurous activity during your stay in Puerto Varas/Ensenada, Ko’KayaK is a wonderful company. The day trip I took this weekend was professionally run, well organized and incredibly fun. Richard, the company’s owner, is a kind a supportive guide along with Coto, who led the other raft, and Adele, the wonderful photographer on our trip.
Despite my nerves coming into the day, the skilled guides helped me feel safe and supported in trying new things and were kind enough to translate their instructions into English for me when I needed.
They also provide amazing empanadas at the end!

We did half day white water rafting and full day sea kayaking which were both wonderful experiences. Guides all speak English and Spanish and were excellent. Rapids during our rafting day were perfect and not too heavy for a beginner. There's also a photographer there who will send you all the photos for a reasonable price.

Sea kayaking was also a wonderful day including lunch at the home of Yolanda whose house is only accessible by boat. We had a tour of her farm actress and could see the way a rural Chilean lives. Our guide Juan was excellent and the water was beautiful. If it's sunny, you'll have views of the volcanoes, but if it's cloudy you'll get to see some wildlife like dolphins and seals. If you start in cochamo you have about 2-3 hours kayaking until lunch then 2 hour after lunch.

We did a family float with our three kids, ages eight, five, four. It was a great day with just the right mix of low-key “rapids” to get the kids wet and keep them engaged. Wet suits for the kids made the water nice for extended periods. We did a bunch of swimming in the calm stretches. Mattias was an awesome guide who was knowledgeable about the local area and was fluent in English. The only downside was the Tabinos horseflies that plague all of southern Chile for a few short weeks in January. As long as everyone is in a wet suit with the jackets provided by the company 90% of your body is covered and the flies don’t get a chance to bite. This was a great company for the family float and they did an awesome job getting the kids to enjoy a day out on the river!

Our cruise ship stopped at Puerto Montt, so it was about an hour drive to the location. The guides and equipment were good--the wet suits and boots an absolute necessity. It would have been nice to have a longer ride. With the high waters, ours lasted less than an hour. It would be nice if they could get a takeout spot further down the river. Overall, worth the trip. Don't forget to get the photos. For $10.00, they give them all to you electronically. Very professionally done.
