Very late in writing this, but my boyfriend and I went on a 5-day excursion with Colin into Park Nacional Pumalin.
It was literally an incredible trip, Colin was enthusiastic, likable, and knew the park like the back of his hand and really made the trip.
We had such an unforgettable time - from hiking to Lakes, swimming in waterfalls, to an amazing excursion to a honey farm, and fishing.
Would highly recommend Alsur for their professionalism and expertise.
It was literally an incredible trip, Colin was enthusiastic, likable, and knew the park like the back of his hand and really made the trip.
We had such an unforgettable time - from hiking to Lakes, swimming in waterfalls, to an amazing excursion to a honey farm, and fishing.
Would highly recommend Alsur for their professionalism and expertise.

The team were so easy to communicate with and answered all our questions months in advance of our booking. We didn't actually get to complete the booking because our cruise ship missed the port at Puerto Montt, but the team were so kind about it and they were great to communicate with throughout the whole process. If you're looking for kind and above and beyond customer service these people are great. Thank you!

We took this tour and had a great time! The pick up was easy and the whole team (driver, rafting guide, etc..) were friendly and made our trip safe so we could enjoy the amazing beauty. The rapids were great and not overwhelming, the water and surrounding beautiful. Great group of guides!

We were a party of six and had our own raft. This experience was so great and everyone agreed it had been one of our best days. We got the wet suits on and it was off to the water for our safety briefing by Franco. Once in the water, the fun was non-stop and the beauty was so amazing. I highly recommend this company.

Whilst on a cruise around the horn, six of our group decided if we are visiting one of the most adventure opportunistic areas of the world, we were going to take advantage! We booked the Petrohue rafting adventure through Princess cruise lines. After disembarking the tender, we were whisked into a small van with 12 of us from the cruise. Franco was to be our guide and savior during this wonderful rafting journey! The drive to the river was along the largest lake in Chile, and afforded magnificent views of the stunning landscape along the way. After an about an hour, we donned our wetsuits and began the exhilarating adventure! It is recommended to wear a bathing suit under your clothes, as they have convenient changing rooms to put the wetsuits and booties on. The river was not freezing, but definitely cold enough that the wetsuits were necessary. When we arrived at the river, it was one of the most breathtaking scenic rivers encountered, surrounded by the beauty of the snow capped volcanic peaks and lush vegetation. Some of the areas were reminiscent of Jurassic Park. A HUGE wow factor. The rapids were class 3, which means you will be buried in water, which makes it so much fun! Franco, our expert guide, was truly knowledgeable and provided all the safety measures needed to ensure a safe and fantastic journey. Having river-rafted all over the world, Franco was definitely a top-notch guide, along with having a terrific personality. Our six friends had such a terrific time, and could have done this trip over and over again if given the time. Caution: This trip is easy, but you must be a confident swimmer, and in decent physical shape, particularly at the area where the trip ends. This trip is NOT a float, but well worth the time and the money for sure! Thank you Franco, for a fantastic time!!!!

Wel organized rafting trip. I enjoyed it very much. The view were amazing, the whole time you see volcanos. I cannot understand why the Lake District is called like that, a better word is volcano district. I liked the rapids, they are not that difficult but still nice. I had lucky with the high amount of water. The color of the water is really nice. They gave you good wet suits and shoes. I did not have it could. A down site is that the rafting only takes up 1,5 hour, I wish it could last fire ever.
Also good they have changing rooms, after that in the club house you get some snacks and a small beer and the fire is running.

Did the afternoon rafting trip on the Petrohue River. I have rafted a couple of time but usually it has been some rapids then a tranquil paddle for a while and then more rapids. The Petrohue River is almost constant white water. Guides were good and they had some good back up safety procedures. My guides were Bruno, Francisco and Sebastian (Well done guys).
You are straight out into it and I thought oh dear! But after a little while you get comfortable and really begin to enjoy it. In fact it ended up finishing too soon I wish it had been longer. It rains a lot in this part of the world and this is one you can do whatever the weather - you get wet anyway. Booked through Turistour I am 60 so pretty much anyone can do this.

I never did any water sports, therefore I was terrified but willing to do this, mainly based on the reviews on Trip Advisor and my daughter's insistence. It's SO worth it! - Safety gear and clear instructions provided by our guide (Cristobal) made this 13-kilometer ride the experience of my life. Just do it :-)
You cannot carry a camera, since your hands will be busy with the paddle, plus there is so much water splashing, BUT there is a team member who rides a kayak boat and takes pictures. Once the ride is over he will sell all the pics for a very reasonable price. You will need a pen drive or memory card so he can transfer the pics.

VALE la pena! - La vestimenta de seguridad y las claras instrucciones de nuestro guía (Cristóbal) hicieron de ésta aventura de 13 kilómetros la experiencia de mi vida. Sólo hazlo! :-)
No puedes llevar cámara, ya que tus manos estarán ocupadas con el remo, además del agua que salpica a montones. Sin embargo, hay una persona del equipo que va por separado en un bote kayak y va sacando fotografías las cuales, una vez terminado el paseo, vende a un precio muy módico. Debes llevar un pen drive o tarjeta de memoria para transferir las imágenes.
