Anybody wishing to do a motorcycle tour of Patagonia I would highly recommend Moto Patagonia. Daniel and his wife Paula have everything so well organised, plus they handled a number of curved balls thrown at them during my trip. There is weeks of preparation before and after each trip which I think makes the tours good value. We crossed the Chilean Argentine border 3 times which went so smoothly due to the advanced preparation. Daniel is a great guy and will do anything to help his clients, he is also a superb rider and will cater for the quicker riders in the group. The main thing about the tour is seeing Patagonia on 2 wheels, the place is unbelievable and Daniel makes sure you see things you would probably ride past if you didn't know about them. All the accommodation was excellent and quite diverse, the Argentine Estancia was really very special. I'm decent road rider although it had been a long time since I had done any off road riding, so I did some training which I would definitely recommend if not essential. Daniel only takes small groups which means he can tailor tours to suit different groups, he has some great contacts so can organise other experiences like fishing and kayaking if there are enough people. I hope to return again in the future for a Northern Chile tour when Daniel organises it. One final thing, we were lucky to have Daniels friend Roberto guide us on our tour, again he was a great rider and superb company.

My son and I rented bikes from Dan and Paula at Moto Patagonia in December 2019.
If you are thinking of a tour or renting bikes to head down to Patagonia I can absolutely recommend this personalized company.
Planning this trip from Australia seemed daunting at the start but was made easy by Dan and Paula.
All of my emails were answered promptly and the knowledge these guys have of the Carretera Austral and surroundings was such a help. Nothing was ever too much trouble and the advice given was spot on.
The bikes were in great condition, freshly serviced and set up just right with Mosko moto panniers and a spares kit.
I hope to get back down to this amazing part of the world again soon and will be using these guys for sure.
Regards
Jamie and Nathan

I spent 3.5 years/77 countries/150,000 miles traveling on my own motorcycle. Times have changed though and now, due to time constraints and moto-shipping costs, my "far away moto trips" are usually done on rentals.
My wife and I rented from Daniel and Paula in March 2023 and were blown away by the professionalism and courtesy we were given.
Let's be clear: There is nothing easy or cheap about running a motorcycle touring / rental company in a foreign country that has wildly high import taxes. Daniel has taken what has historically been a complex process and has made it incredibly easy to simply show up and ride. Registration/customs /immigration paperwork is handled in-house so that you can go back and forth between Argentina and Chile with no hassle.
Since we rented two bikes and headed out on our own meanderings, I can't speak for the group tours. But I can speak for the quality of motorcycles we received and the guidance we were given prior to our road trip. I would highly recommend booking a rental or a tour with Moto Patagonia. The beauty of the region will make your jaw drop.
Thank you to Daniel and Paula for providing an experience that's impossible to forget

I just returned from the best adventure ride of my life! Moto Patagonia and the owner Danial guided an amazing 8-day motorcycle ride through Chile and Argentina that covered breathtaking scenery, obscure routes, stops for hiking in the national parks, and white water rafting. Danial’s attention to detail and planning for every detail, from hotels to border crossings to daily motorcycle maintenance, was never too small or overlooked. I highly recommend Danial and Moto Patagonia; I would never use anyone else!

The trip consisted of 8 days of riding adventure motorcycles through Chile and Argentina with 3 of us and our guide Daniel. Everyday was a crescendo of anticipation and excitement, only to be outdone the next day. The tour was perfectly curated, every detail from the moment we arrived at the airport in Puerto Montt to our last day which included a private aerial tour of several of the local volcanos. Anyone who is considering an adventure ride in this part of the world, I can't say enough about this outfit, professional, safe, a total cultural immersion on top of excellent riding.

Been riding over 40 years and usually travel solo for the flexibility it offers. Due to time constraints, I decided to look into a motorcycle tour that would handle all the details, including routes, lodging, stops, etc. After all the research of different tour options, the small max group size that Moto Patagonia offers fit right my requirements. I signed up for the 8 day adventure. From the start, the tour was well run. Daniel was able to read the skill level of the small group and picked challanging roads accordingly. Both the off-pavement and pavement sections were a blast and enjoyed every minute. Lodging was excellent and distances were well planned out. Being that this was my first ever organized motorcycle tour, I can say that I would readily use Moto Patagonia again. If things work out, I'll be riding with them again in the future. You made this solo rider a believer in organized tours, especially in the format and manner that Moto Patagonia offers. A big thank you to Daniel, Enzo and Paula!

My friend and I flew down from California and rented 2 Tenere700s that were practically brand new. Daniel and Paula had everything in order for us so it was a very quick and easy pick up and drop off of the bikes. Daniel gave us quick feedback and was accessible to answer any questions we had while we were on the road. Overall, it was the best motorcycle trip I’ve ever taken and I’ve taken many trips. I would highly recommend Motopatagonia if you’re headed down this way and whether or not, you want to do an organized tour or rent the bikes do your own tour like my friend and I did it’s probably the best way to go. This ride from Ushuaia to Puerto Montt was 4355 km of adventure. Experiencing wide open and windy Argentina to the lush twisty Chile roads kept riding skills paramount. Daniel (Moto Pantagonia) is on top of all mechanica/medical situations to deliver a successful ride. Daniel and Roberto daily outlined the sights and road conditions we were about to experience. This ride needs to be done with experienced leaders who know the area as some parts of the ride are very remote.

The best motorcycle tour I have ever experienced. Having ridden in numerous countries around the world, I can honestly say that MotoPatagonia provide a unique and memorable experience. The route structure, boutique hotels and off bike excursions have been carefully considered and offer an insight into Patagonia that other tour operators cannot compete with. The care and concern that Daniel, Paula and Roberto expressed into ensuring expectations were met and that all the riders received premium attention, was unsurpassed.

Dan and Paula run a nice little business renting bikes and doing tours. Very helpful in your planning. Bikes in good shape as Dan is a mechanic. Fully loaded with top quality panniers. Based close to the lovely and upmarket Puerto Varas lake holiday town. Fly to Puerto Montt. Head down to the staggeringly beautiful Carretera Austral.
