Daniel and his team are simply superb! Professional, attentive and knowledgeable. We just completed the 16 day Ushuaia tour, and it exceeded all expectations. Beautiful scenery, really unique and comfortable accommodations, and superb bikes. Daniel is an expert mechanic as evidenced by his trailside flat tire fixes and even a McGyver style fix for a blown rear shock. I would not consider a motorcycle trip through Patagonia without Moto Patagonia.

I just returned from the best adventure ride of my life! Moto Patagonia and the owner Danial guided an amazing 8-day motorcycle ride through Chile and Argentina that covered breathtaking scenery, obscure routes, stops for hiking in the national parks, and white water rafting. Danial’s attention to detail and planning for every detail, from hotels to border crossings to daily motorcycle maintenance, was never too small or overlooked. I highly recommend Danial and Moto Patagonia; I would never use anyone else!

The trip consisted of 8 days of riding adventure motorcycles through Chile and Argentina with 3 of us and our guide Daniel. Everyday was a crescendo of anticipation and excitement, only to be outdone the next day. The tour was perfectly curated, every detail from the moment we arrived at the airport in Puerto Montt to our last day which included a private aerial tour of several of the local volcanos. Anyone who is considering an adventure ride in this part of the world, I can't say enough about this outfit, professional, safe, a total cultural immersion on top of excellent riding.

My friend and I flew down from California and rented 2 Tenere700s that were practically brand new. Daniel and Paula had everything in order for us so it was a very quick and easy pick up and drop off of the bikes. Daniel gave us quick feedback and was accessible to answer any questions we had while we were on the road. Overall, it was the best motorcycle trip I’ve ever taken and I’ve taken many trips. I would highly recommend Motopatagonia if you’re headed down this way and whether or not, you want to do an organized tour or rent the bikes do your own tour like my friend and I did it’s probably the best way to go. Anybody wishing to do a motorcycle tour of Patagonia I would highly recommend Moto Patagonia. Daniel and his wife Paula have everything so well organised, plus they handled a number of curved balls thrown at them during my trip. There is weeks of preparation before and after each trip which I think makes the tours good value. We crossed the Chilean Argentine border 3 times which went so smoothly due to the advanced preparation. Daniel is a great guy and will do anything to help his clients, he is also a superb rider and will cater for the quicker riders in the group. The main thing about the tour is seeing Patagonia on 2 wheels, the place is unbelievable and Daniel makes sure you see things you would probably ride past if you didn't know about them. All the accommodation was excellent and quite diverse, the Argentine Estancia was really very special. I'm decent road rider although it had been a long time since I had done any off road riding, so I did some training which I would definitely recommend if not essential. Daniel only takes small groups which means he can tailor tours to suit different groups, he has some great contacts so can organise other experiences like fishing and kayaking if there are enough people. I hope to return again in the future for a Northern Chile tour when Daniel organises it. One final thing, we were lucky to have Daniels friend Roberto guide us on our tour, again he was a great rider and superb company.

I visited in early Spring, and had three 1-day tours, returning to base in Puerto Varas each night. I can really recommend these if you only have a day or few spare in the area - I flew in specifically for this, but MotoPatagonia supply the bike and all gear in excellent condition, so I could plan this trip in a few days off work without having my gear with me in South America.
Each day’s tour offered something completely different, from Volcan Osorno and Lago Llanquihue, to a taste of the Carretera Austral on day 2, to the coast of Llico Baja on day 3, with a mix of tarmac and gravel/dirt roads well off the beaten track.
Having considered a rental I’m glad I went for the tour - as I was a solo rider on my first tour, Daniel was able to tailor each day to my skill level, and was a great guide pointing out points of interest along the routes. Prior to the tour, there was clear contact with very quick responses to any questions I had, with Daniel and Paula making the whole trip absolutely seamless. They were professional at all times, and extremely welcoming, friendly and personable - it’s obvious that they really care about giving you the best possible experience. Overall the trip thoroughly exceeded my expectations, I’m already hoping I can come back to push further south!

Daniel and Paula were extremely helpful before, during and even after the trip with thorough, precise and timely information. Vital, considering that we did the tour ourselves. Motorcycles were well prepared and rightly equipped for the ride. If you plan a motorcycle tour to Patagonia, go through/with them!

Riding the Carretera Austal of Chile’s Patagonia region was a bucket list item for several of those in our riding group. We could not have picked better guides and partners for this adventure than Moto Patagonia and its owner/operators, Daniel and Paula.
The experience was both challenging and highly rewarding. Daniel and Paula run a top-shelf operation. The bikes are late model, extraordinarily clean, and very well maintained (Daniel is an accomplished mechanic). The level of customized, personal service they provide is second-to-none. They are professionals and just good people.
Daniel and Paula helped us navigate the multiple hurdles to entering Chile during the COVID pandemic. Without their help, we probably would not have successfully made this trip. Hopefully, the bureaucratic process will ease as time goes on.
The environs and scenery of Southern Chile are nothing less than breathtaking. Many of us have ridden extensively in the Western US and Europe. What you see and experience in Patagonia is like no other region that I have seen: unique and awe-inspiring, kilometer after kilometer. You will want to stop more frequently for photos than the schedule allows, at times.
Daniel knows the region, culture, language, restaurants, and lodges (and their owners) intimately. He runs these trips like we are family (which you become by the end of the ride).
The riding is challenging. At times, there is a pretty high pucker factor, unless you have been riding dirt since childhood and this is second nature to you. It was certainly more challenging than any of us expected, given that we are all mostly street riders. It is rated as a 4/5 in difficulty for a reason. Be prepared for that.
Daniel necessarily runs a tight ship to keep the group on schedule when needed. That is what a good leader and guide does. Nevertheless, there are some long days on the saddle. And, riding stretches in the rain — highly likely at some point along the way — can be hair-raising and challenging, both physically and mentally. I would not recommend this for casual riders who not in relatively good physical shape.
All in all, Moto Patagonia deserves a 5-star rating. The personal attention, experiential customization, excellent equipment and bikes, and Daniel’s expert guidance on the road makes this a not-to-miss adventure for those looking to ride on the wild side of the Southern Hemisphere.

Daniel had the KTM adventure bikes ready and dialed! Fantastic operation. My dad and I were treated like VIPs. The local riding is world class. This was the highlight of our trip to the lakes district of Chile. Memories made!
