Singapore Duck Tour

61 reviews
Explore Singapore on a 1-hour duck tour, known officially as DUCKtours®, which allows you to see city sights by both land and water. On ‘the duck,’ an amphibious military vehicle that was refurbished from World War II, you’ll drive around the city to check out attractions like the Fountain of Wealth and Singapore Flyer. Then hit the water to cruise past landmarks like the Merlion, Singapore’s famous statue that sits where the Singapore River meets Marina Bay. Audio commentary is included.

Good options for shopping. There are a few salons on the higher floors too. There is also a cinema. First floor has plenty of options for food. If this doesn't satisfy you, head over to Bugis as there is a bridge to bring you across.

This slick & bustling 10 story shopping mall in Bugis is a notch down from the high end mega malls you see on Orchard Rd and Marina Bay (The Shoppes) but it is more accessible, less maze like (we literally couldn’t find our way out of ION Orchard!) and has more affordable prices. There is a 6-cinema Filmgarde Ciniplex up on the 5th level which shows big Hollywood movies as well as Singaporean films with local stars. I saw Zombieland: Double Tap and it was in English but had subtitles for the locals (and we exited out the back through the fire doors?!). There are lots of restaurants and coffee houses in the centre (including Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, which fulfilled my daily espresso coffee needs), a large games parlour, a bar & pool hall and endless retail stores (Adidas, Calvin Klein, Mobile King, Puma etc). It’s close to Bugis MRT and hotels (was a short walk through a pedestrian mall & hawker centre from South East Asia Hotel) and there is also a cab rank outside.I visited regularly during my stay in the area and rate Bugis+ highly.

They say this is where you shop if you are not looking for designer labels and pricier items. The mall here is not as extravagant as the other malls in Singapore. We went here to eat breakfast nearby and also went to shop for some souvenirs for my family. I went to one of many Giordano stores to buy discounted I Love SG tshirts. I also bought other souvenirs like a chinese medicinal oil. The place is easily accessible via the MRT and there are also bargain shops inside the malls.

when I entered this place, they have arcades, pool, karaoke box, dart, cinema, board games and shops. I just strolled while looking around, all the fun you want.

This escalator is extremely windy and such. It makes you feel like a dog wearing sunglasses with no worries. Long hairers beware
