The park that fruit trees were planted such banana, chiku, starfruit. It is next to punggol river and has floating wetland and pond. The scenic greenery in serene environment is definitely worth-while to visit.

It is within walking distance to flats and nearer to Farmway LRT than Sengkang MRT and is part of North Eastern Riverine Park Connector Network.

If you have a bicycle, it is a lovely place to ride to, using the Punggol Park Connector. It is also easily accessible by car and not too far off from the LRT station, belonging to the Seng Kang lines. I rode my bicycle, so I am not too sure how to get here via other means.
Large empty spaces: perfect for running, taichi, and I daresay, even a picnic! A clean pond nearby, it is a picturesque, calm and good place for family or even community club activities.

It is a wonderful place for those of us who love nature and walking.

The information given below by National Parks (Singapore) sums up the activities one can enjoy there:

Sengkang Riverside Park
With the Punggol Reservoir, also known as Sungei Punggol, running through it, Sengkang Riverside Park is calm and tranquil. Featuring a constructed wetland and rich biodiversity, it is a favourite of nature lovers.

Visitors can hike on the park’s many trails to view the manually planted marshes and get close to the inhabitants of the marshland. Home to many aquatic plants, the constructed wetland doubles up as a wildlife habitat and attracts a variety of mangrove birds and damselflies. Alternatively, embark on an educational journey to explore the fruit trees planted around the park. Besides common edible fruits such as star fruit, chiku and dragon fruit, you may even discover exotic fruits that cannot be found in local stalls and supermarkets. Visitors can also visit Singapore’s largest man-made wetland, PUB’s Sengkang Floating Island, which is located within the park.

Sengkang Riverside Park is one of four parks located on the North Eastern Riverine Loop of the Park Connector Network. Sengkang Riverside Park was awarded the ABC Waters Certification, as an excellent example of how the protection of our water resources can be creatively integrated with urban planning in a sustainable manner.

It is also one of the places in Singapore where we held Countdown 2016 for residents of Ang Mo Kio GRC and Sengkang West SMC. A park that is truly wonderful as the planners that made this park possible were able to integrate space, river and residential living in one.

Now is not a good place for those who like peaceful environment as this park is pack with a group of people playing loud instrument which destroy the peaceful nature of the park at the cafe, affecting those eating the cafe....

This is quite a nice park to run. You will find many people running and jogging in morning and evening. There is also a cafe/bar near the park as well.

This is a nice park to visit. It is located near an LRT station and you can have a picnic in the park, which is green and serene. If you do not wish to pack a picnic, there is a cafetaria in the park grounds where you can have a meal or drink. If you are feeling energetic you can walk along the park connector beside the river to get to Waterway Park or the Punggol Promenade.

I've passed through this park a few times whilst cycling along the Punggol Park Connector and around the vicinity. The park is well designed with small walking trails. As with other parks in Singapore it is neat and tidy. Probably not worth going out of your way to visit, but if you happen to be in the area it's maybe worth a stop.
