About
The Corner Shop Singapore is a place created in October 2015 in the heart of the historic district of Chinatown. The owners realized that Singapore lacked a place which would bring together asian design of household, office supplies, kitchen and gardening cool goods with welcome refreshment and food areas. A business established in the heart of South East Asia and of its country, Singapore.

hidden hideaway
Jan 2016 • Friends
Surrounded by tourist attractions yet off the beaten path sits a concept store carrying a selection of well curated odds and ends, homeware and assorted items of quality design and make.

Most of the stuff is rare to find elsewhere in Singapore and it makes for an interesting sojourn in this quaint space. (good gift shop)

The store also has a little food/ drinks counter and serves locally inspired pies which are a great size to snack on.

A little effort is needed to find the location but you should know your getting warmer when you see the eclectic neighbors of hardware and paint shops!

A Delightful little Shop to chance upon
Nov 2015 • Solo
It's one of those shops you never expected to find in an area with never ending alleyways of tourist souvenir shops and old provision stores. Refreshing to chance upon and do a little shopping in. They even have a take away drip coffee and pies counter.

Amazing store with carefully curated everyday tools (mostly from Japan)! The plus point here is that they serve local inspired pies, cakes and coffee too! Definitely worth a visit if you happen to be in Chinatown!!!

A Very Cool Shop
Nov 2015 • Friends
On my way to visit the Buddha tooth relica, I passed by this shop.
It sells very cool goods, home wares, wallets, watches, gardening tools. They are all made in Asia (Singapore, Japan, Vietnam ,...) with awesome design.
If you have time, they do propose Vietnamese coffee and local delights (gula Melaka scones, banana cakes, ...).
In others words, a great surprise, a little gem in the middle of Chinatown. Cool :)
