An initiative that invites everyone (beginners and those with prior experience) to take some time out of their fast-paced and hectic lives to reconect with themselves, nature and those around them. Primarily following the Hatha yoga tradition, this practice is gentle, meditative and relaxed. It's a fun and spontaneous way to start your yoga journey, as well as connect with likeminded individuals! Yoga in the Park occurs every Sunday. Arrive at Cluny Gate, outside Botanic Gardens MRT Exit A at 9.45 am. When the group has arrived, yogis will head in around 10.00am to find a spot for Yoga! About Urban Yogis: URBAN YOGIS' classes are focused on consciously unravelling the body's contractions and tensions with guided awareness; using our breath to guide our release, and incorporating lessons on the mat into our everyday lives. Primarily following the Hatha yoga tradition, explore cultivating the art of deep presence and establish harmony with your spirit, body and mind. Classes aspire to be inclusive and holistic without solely focusing on the physical aspect of yoga (asanas) but also a mental and spiritual, encompassing pranayama and meditation. An honest practice of yoga, not just asana.
