Great place to enjoy the city’s skyline up close. Lots of skyscrapers and modern buildings. The view is nicer at night when the buildings lights up. However, most shops in this area closes earlier than elsewhere. Due to the fact that after knocking off from work, office workers would basically leave this place, making it a “ghost town”.

From here, it is easy to go to many places including Singapore River, Marina Bay area, Fort Canning Park and Chinatown. All are within walking distance.

Raffles place is an ideal place to watch and click pictures of the imposing Singapore skyscrapers and the city !!! There are some of the biggest bank headquarters for Asia located here. Lots of cafes, bars and high end restaurants are also located here.

This is one of the many places in town where you can get a really cool view of th skyline. Stop by here and take some pictures if you are in the area.

The Skyline of Singapore provides a perfect backdrop for memorable pictures and selfies. These buildings houses offices of some of the biggest banks and financial institutes of the world. With classical landmarks such as the merlion, fullerton hotel and Cavenagh Bridge, the area is a perfect mixture of old-&-new and past-&-present of Singapore.

The view is even more spectacular in the night when the lights come on. The buildings can be viewed from a different perspective from top of the Marina Bay Sands.

Go to the building called Arcade. Into the shops inside this building to get good exchange rates for foreign currency. Best in town rates.

Skyscrapers are best seen from the shores of Mаrina Bay. The best view is, however, from the panoramic terrace of Marina Bay Sands.

There is more to this area than the towers of the financial district and it's worth spending some time here. The easiest way to arrive is by the MRT at Raffles Place. Day or night time there will be things to interest the visitor although at night time all the buildings are lit up providing one of the great views in this amazing city state.
At ground level, look out for the Salvador Dali sculpture " homage to Newton" and it's only s short walk to the river where more sculptures are to be found. Excellent coffee and snacks are available at Providores.
A short walk away and by crossing the river on the footbridge are the Asian Civilization Museum and the beautifully preserved and renovated Colonial style buildings housing the theatre and City Art gallery.
If you want to see the area from the river, there are a number of river cruises available.
We were glad we explored the area and if you've a couple of hours to spare, we recommend you visit.

We did it in the evening, not sure if it’s opened during the day but if so I would certainly return to check if the view is just so amazing as during the night. Although not the highest building in Singapore for sure the one with the best view!

This Place is full of high sky scrappers covering the entire area of Raffles Place which is filled with some amazing vibes there .. everybody seems to be busy but once you see the place you will enjoy the vibes . The Sky scrappers looks amazing & it can be best enjoyed when you come out of the MRT and engulfed between the Skyscrappers
