About
Welcome to Spa-1, a hidden gem tucked away in the cosy basement of Grandlink Square, just a 3 minute stroll from Paya Lebar MRT (Exit D). We pride ourselves on the variety of facilities and treatments that we offer, and our commitment to customer service. Established in 2011, our team regularly travels far and wide to cherry-pick and implement the best ideas from all over the world. After our recent upgrading efforts, our spa now channels elements of Japanese Onsens, Korean Jimjilbangs, traditional Chinese medicine, and even high-tech O2 facilities. We are proud to say that we are the first, and only spa in Singapore to offer this breadth of facilities, and at an extremely affordable price! We sincerely hope that you will enjoy your visit with us.

The place was very clean. i think one of better ones for spa facility n so far the closest u can get to jimjilbang
the only disappointing thing was the food.
the wet side also need more facilities
the other thing was oxygen room need to pay n u have to pay b4 going in
also the rooms for dry spa were very small
good thibg was himalayan n the other room hot ne were very clean
really hope they improve on food n bring in more variety of korean jimjilbang

Previous Spa-1 facility was much better. One can order any food (free) from the Guest Dining Area, The facility then could not be compared to Now.
.
.
Now it's "Cha-Pa-Lang" ... They have Everything and Anything all Combined (basically Chinese Ulu): Karaoke Lounge, Kitchen that serve food (Must PAY & PAY), rooms for massage and other amenities were not aligned .. One has to walk quite a bit to get from changing room to Steam Room, Sauna, Hot & Cold Pool, the Cassia Seed and Himalayan Salt Sauna was in the Dining Area and not near the Jade Room. Service was bad ... they employ foreign service person compared to previous part-time staff (service was better in the past). Since the amenities are not properly connected, Cassia Seeds were all over the floor.
.
.
Changing Room: Since there were no one to service that area often UNTIDY when they automate the lockers - Self Service)

The environment has changed to contemporary Korean style since I last visited. The cold and awesome jade room, cassia seed sauna (soft and embracing), Himalayan rock salt (good for asthmatic individuals), oxygen resting room, common rest area with TV and most of all a common kitchen for all to gather and chit chat over some funnger food are all in once place. Food is aplenty and, pretty decent.
Don’t expect a large common area like Korea. Entrance fee is rather steep as compared to Korea. But the hot pool is hot and superbly clean most importantly. Also, the hot pool is a shorts optional place, some may find it not hygiene to walk into the pools with shorts especially when you have perspired much in the sauna - bacteria are cooking in the same hot pot from your shorts. Nonetheless, its a perfect place for perfect resting if can get over the shorts into the hot pool issue.
Lastly, try the Himalayan salt in the hot pool areas and scrub it on your body then head straight into the steam room for about 5-10 mind and proceed to shower - you will feel your skin being clean and smooth. It's wonderful to feel clean.
Spa-1 is launching its membership package from 19 September 2018 onwards. Hopefully, it's not too expensive as it's rather out of the place to visit unless you drive. Check it out especially when you are dead tired, you will appreciate this place tremendously - cos it's truly relaxing.

Enjoyed the jimjilbang but ended up getting a severe case of hot tub folliculitis cause of the sauna

Why is the Price for the use of the spa is high compared to other spa?
Written January 10, 2019
They have converted to a Korean kind of hot spa. Probably because of the multi facilities that command that entrance fee. Yes, I think the price is on the high side.
