What a nice, relaxing and calm place! This little bar is located near Ann Siang Hill and offers a well selected choice of very individually created and locally inspired cocktails and fine food. The bar is new to Singapore. It opened only in July 2014. They serve cocktails in individual glasses or cups which demonstrates the care and creativity the team has put in its business. I had a fruity and well balanced mixture of Lemongrass, Passionfruit and Vermouth.
We liked as well the atmosphere with silent background music: A place you can talk in opposite to most of the places in this area where the music is put to maximum...
Great place! We will go back next week to try the food. It looked very appealing as well!
Nutmeg & Clove is a little difficult to find since there is not a lot of advertisement to be seen from the outside and till now no internet page. This bar is an insiders's tip for everyone who is knowledgable about good cocktails.

Great staff, excellent selection of cocktails available. Recommend the Martini, however the mojitos were very popular. Not pretentious at all despite being a cocktail bar. A cracking bar in a area filled with entertainment. Pop in, you'll have a great time.

Cool atmosphere... creative drinks... nice bartenders... highly recommended for a low key, relaxing beverage

We came here for a couple of drinks and it was well worth it. They were beta testing a new cocktail menu, which had decent selection of many unique adaptations of famous cocktails as well as some local creations. The prices are reasonable for cocktails, ranging from $22-30.

The bar host was very friendly and attentive, I'd definitely return here as it is a great place to chat and have a drink.

i expected more character from the bar itself, but aside from some minor touches it is pretty much the same as several other bars in the area. The drinks however were a different matter, unusual combinations, unorthodox flavour matchings, and creative drink ware made for very pleasant pre dinner drinks. They do serve food from a limited menu but there were only two options available on the night we were there so didn't bother.

Having visited the Banda Islands (original source of nutmeg) and the twin islands of Ternate and Tidore (original source of cloves) in East Indonesia, I couldn't help being attracted to a place that called itself 'Nutmeg & Clove'.
Based in the headquarters of a Chinese Family's former spice empire, the old wooden medicine cabinets were still evident, but now carrying premium brands of wines and spirits. Our barman, Leon was superb. Friendly, funny, extremely capable and dedicated to his craft, we sampled several innovative cocktails including a Dirty Martini with a Century Old Egg. That was definitely a highlight.
Would I go again? We have already recommended it to friends and it will be our first stop next time we go out in Singapore.
