I recently completed my open water course with Stanley. He was excellent throughout - very thorough, knowledgeable and above all very safety conscious- he always brings his own equipment to dives and maintains gear to the highest standards. He was patient and encouraging during my open water session. My husband has also completed his open water, advanced and rescue courses with Stanley and thinks he is one of the best instructors he has ever had. Thank you Stanley and BBC for a great experience!

I came from Canada to Singapore and I was able to complete my open water diving course with Stanley. Stanley really cares about diving safely and will continue to remind you of the proper things to do with regards to caring for your equipment and staying safe in the water. At the same time, he also knows how to have fun. I contacted every dive centre in Singapore and he had the best rates and packages--what more can you ask for! We were able to go to Tioman Malaysia and it literally included everything. Saw beautiful fish and turtle on multiple dives and at night was on the best beach I've ever been on. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I got referred to Stanley via friends who are hard-core divers. I wanted to do my open water for years but was too lazy or scared. Stanley was super patient! Great teaching to make it easy to understand but also firm enough to make sure that I understand all basics and safety. It was personalized attention to individual needs. When I finally did the dive everything was so clear and smooth because Stanley is a great teacher. I am really looking forward to more diving! It's addictive!

I wanted to go diving for one day.In the center i asked about the diving time(because 200 dollar for one day is a lot of money for me and i dont wanna have short dives for that money).the guy there said:"dont worry,you will have a guide just for you.so you can dive in your divetime."i went out on the boat with 3 guides and 4 customers.the first dive we needed to stop after 41 minutes,my "divemaster(he said so)was out of air.so i needed to get up with 130 bar.i asked him about his air.his answer:"but we dived deep!"(the deepest point was 10,5 meter,most of the time we were on 6-7 m.!!)i was kind of mad and told this after the dive.i didnt get a real answer,just:"we will have a second dive!"for the break the guides had some bisquits and drinks.most of the bisquits ate one of the guides by hisself and drank directly out of the bottle....the second dive we started on a wrack.the visibility was really bad.one of the customers had problems with the balance and went suddenly up.her husband took her back.they were down again after 10 min.no one of the 3 guys recocnized that they were missing!!!!the second dive was 49 min and my "divemaster"was really proud of this time...after the dive the boat was really far away .so we needed to swim some hundred meters(the boat didnt come,even when they saw us!)...i was speachless about this unprofessional things on the day.....i wanted to call the boss of the center next days,but of course he didnt answer.the guides were nice persons .but all the day they said,that safety is the most important thing in this center...but this sentence was rediclouas because they didnt even say to make a body check...pitty:a lot of money for a really unprofessional day...britta from germany

Just completed my PADI open water diver course with Big Bubble Centre at Tioman Islands, Malaysia. I & my son have never dived before. This was our first time to get PADI certified. My son, Vedaant had been waiting to turn 10, so that he can scuba dive. He turned 10 in July. He loves adventure sports and gets excited very fast. So when I started the Open Water Diving course with Big Bubble Centre, I was definitely nervous about the safety of my son, under the ocean. That is why Stanley Ong and Big Bubble Centre get full marks from me. Stanley focusses on safety, taking care of lives and is a no nonsense dive master/instructor. He ensured that my son and everyone followed his instructions and never once did I feel that I should keep checking on my son. At all times in the sea, either Stanley or his rescue diver colleague, James dived with my son. I was amazed to see my son diving at 12 metres under the sea. And I could learn to dive without the stress of worrying about my son. Diving will be fun, only if you focus on ensuring you are safe. I would trust my son’s & my safety with Big Bubble Centre any day. Thanks Stanley, you have been a fantastic teacher.

It was an amazing experience with big bubble centre, Stanley has Great skills of teaching. I enjoyed every single moment with the team. Looking forward to more trip with team big bubble👌🏾

I did my Advanced Open Water Diving (AOW) with BBC just last weekend, Sep 15-17 in Tioman.
We (myself and 2 others on the same course) had a great time with Darul (our instructor) and Henry (dive master/ liaison/ logistics coordinator). They were both excellent in their field of expertise, and took good care of us both in, on and out of the water.
Both Darul and Henry were very experienced and knowledgeable in anything related to diving. They were very effective in imparting the finer techniques in diving, always stressing on safety during the dive. Learnt heaps from Darul in the entire 2 days there.
Both Darul and Henry were really really patient with me cos I was always the last one in almost everything I was doing, from suiting up to the dive itself.
Thanks guys for the patience and encouragement.
I am 57 this year and am glad I am finally getting to do what I have put off for years. The dive experience was just incredible. Stingrays, lionfish, turtles, shark, small moray eel, cuttlefish, triggerfish, batfish, schools of yellowtails...they are all there....I get to see them in real life instead of on the TV. Yiippee!
I truely enjoyed it and I must give credit to both Darul and Henry, and my AOW buddies
for making it an awesome trip.
Thanks guys (and 1 gal).
I strongly recommend BBC for anyone who has intentions of enjoying the underwater world. Their local knowledge of the dive sites is a big plus.

I went on an advanced open water course in Tioman together with a group of friends who did the open water. I would not book with big bubble again due to three things bothered me. Firstly, a lack of flexibility e.g. Pool sessions and departure times could not be adjusted even by 30 min. Delays were treated like major issues even if in hindsight they did not have any impact. Secondly, the tone of teaching and business was very authoritative, assertive and at times aggressive. From my (European) customer perspective this is neither helpful nor acceptable. Thirdly and most importantly, before collection of our certificates my friends and me received messages from big bubble that we should write reviews in tripadvisor before we could collect our certificates. We ended up collecting them without writing the review. Still I believe this is utterly unacceptable behaviour!!

A quick note of recommendation for Stanley and Enrico. We completed the PADI open water course including a weekend at Tioman Island with 5 dives. Stanley’s experience and professionalism shone through, with thorough instruction that gave us confidence. A great experience all round. Big Bubble, no troubles!

Took my OW course last month and I am a certified OW diver now! We were well taken care of from the beginning till end of the course. Special mention that Henry (our Dive Master) and our instructor Raymond were so professional. It was a great experience and big thanks to them for their guidance and patience :)
