I was fortunate enough to ballot for the National Day tickets and watched the parade live at The Float. The view with Marina Bay Sands and the Central Business District as the background was just magnificent, be it in the day, evening or night.
I have always enjoyed the Float At The Bay, from being the unique finish point of the inaugural 2007 Singapore Ironman 70.3 triathlon, to the venue for the National Day Parade for the last several years. The biggest draw would be the setting, with the...More
Went down for yearly Chinese New Year River Angboa. Wonderful year of Rooster, lots to see and eat. There is a tent that sells finger foods, drink and ice creams. Also have fun fair with games and not to forget Singapore Pools too, to buy...More
We bought the cheapest tickets, mainly for the fireworks, as we did not know the lineup. I would never pay 4 times as much, being behind the scene not able to see the firework show.
Then lineup turned good as the evening went on, bit...More
Really had 2 experiences, one so ridiculously poor is hard to believe. The other very good. Unfortunately the poor experience almost completely overshadows the good.
The poor experience is a 7pm departure time that ended up closer to 830. While waiting no information is given...More
Float @ the Bay offer either a drinks trip or dinner cruise. As we were celebrating my sisters 50th birthday, we opted for the dinner cruise.
Booking and paying from the UK had its problems, no fault of the Float@the Bay team who were marvellous...More
It was hazy when we board the boat but thankfully it goes down while we are cruising. We reserved at 7pm but I guess some guest booked at 7:30pm so we have to come back to Clifford Pier again after we cruised for a while....More
I cant get excited about this. I feel its just another float around in a small boat on a river which could have been in any part of the world. There are a few operators here at Clarke Quay and a couple of them were...More
We experienced the Float @ the Bay Dinner Cruise which leaves from Clarke Quay on a Thurs, Fri, Sat evening around 6.30pm.
The food was delicious, and the 2 hour plus cruise on the river was relaxing and enjoyable. The boat was not crowded but...More
Terrible firstly the dinner boat parks in front of us during the laser show just for them to hand over a box of something to each other. Then the staff get bored and turn on their own music drowning out the music of the show.
More of a mini city than a neighborhood in the traditional sense, the iconic Marina Bay aims to dazzle and entertain visitors of all kinds. This is the Singapore found in glossy brochures, featuring a world-class hotel, casino, shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions all geared towards pure entertainment. The SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands provides a stunning view of the city, a must-see photo
opportunity for visitors and locals alike. The ArtScience Museum always has a top-quality exhibition, and Gardens by the Bay is a fascinating manifestation of the government’s vision of Singapore as a “city in a garden”. Enticing Marina Bay is well worth a visit.
