Max Mohan's attention to detail and friendly nature are a must have experience. Buying 4 suits this time ahead of moving to the US and he ensured the finest attention to detail based on the weather, latest styles/design. The bespoke nature of the suits speak for themselves and it was great to have my name personalized within the jackets! I definitely recommend them and hope to return soon.

My work takes me to Thailand and Vietnam on a fairly regular basis, and I have had a chance to get some shirts and suits made at various tailors in both the countries. Having come across Mohan’s, I no longer get my clothes stitched anywhere else.
The workmanship of the tailors is excellent, Max and his team are extremely knowledgeable and amiable. The quality of material they have is excellent, and any customization is right up their ally.
I would highly recommend Mohan’s for your tailoring needs, and while you are there, don’t forget to meet the larger than life Max Mohan himself.

Overpriced and Hard Sell. Everyone on the shop tries to impress customers by telling them how famous they are. Mohan talkies about film personalities and celebrities who are his customers. Showed pictures with them, which is quite a cheap publicity stunt.
But when it comes to the service you actually get, it is just ordinary but at a premium pricing apparently to justify their celebrity connection. It is at the end of the day an ordinary tailor shop in a mall! And there are hundreds of them who are much more humble, sincere and do a good job at a reasonable price and deliver within days …. Not weeks that Mohan takes.
Having read about them in some blog, I went to try out with a pair or trousers and shirt. I got talked into buying two pairs of trouser and 2 shirts by Mohan. But I was shocked by the price of shirts at $295 a piece. And when I was billed GST was added on top of that. Sure Mohan was not transparent. Although I paid, I felt cheated. Mohan is a slick salesman rather than a fine craftsman we expect from a reputed tailor. So are his bunch of people at the shop. The workshop where the tailoring actually happens is probably no different than the half a dozen other shops in the same mall. I am yet to see the product they give me, in a few weeks time, but I have discounted their output already and not looking forward to it. Needless to say would be avoiding another visit. Avoidable!!

Max Mohan has been my tailor for over six years and he had never failed to deliver on a suit thus far. He provides a very efficient, quality service and always delivers. I would definitely recommend Max to anyone who is looking for a very good quality bespoke suit.

Mohan's Custom Tailors is a business with a lot of history, and it's fair to say that I had my fair share of expectations. On each visit, Max and his team were friendly, professional and efficient, providing much pleasant interaction.
Max provided a vast array of advice and selections after I listed my criteria, and upon receiving the final product, I'm absolutely satisfied with what I've gotten. It may have been a little pricey, but that is to be expected when paying for higher quality material (which feels fantastic) so I have absolutely no complaints.
This whole process has been an exteremly positive experience, and I'd gladly return with no hesitation should I ever need to tailor another suit in future.

Max and Victor provides excellent tailoring service - their clothes are designed to fit you and last a long time. I went recently because I have gained weight, and my pants could still be altered to fit so it's like having new pants without much cost!

I came across Mohan Tailors through a blog post on the top 15 tailors in Singapore. I spoke to Max on a very busy Sunday Afternoon with more than 3 group of customers in the shop.
With all of the new age tailors popping out around Singapore and the types of detailing they are offering, Mohan tailors would be considered more an 'Old School' tailor without all those bells and whistles.
Nevertheless, if you have any areas which you would like to add (special buttons etc.) i am pretty sure max will be able to accommodate those request.
However, what Max brings to the table is that they are willing to listen to the customer's wants and give valuable advises on what maketh a suit. His tailor who comes in and do your fitting seems to be on superhero speed measuring all points of your suit within a span of 2-3 minutes which demonstrates years of practice.
I am currently only on my first fitting and am already impressed on how the suit nicely. I am confident that my suit will be a good one and i am looking forward to try it on.
Looking forward to the collection of the suits and hopefully more suits to come from Mohan.

Mohan’s Custom Tailors have been doing an excellent job on all my suits, shirts and pants for the past 3 years. They have a wide array of quality fabrics and patterns to choose from and the service is excellent. Being in the custom tailoring business for more than 45 years the professionalism displayed from the guys there are second to none.
The process is always quick and smooth. I was able to get a large order done in a week when I had to rush for an event. In addition, even with the short span of time that they had the suit was perfectly fitted and was how I envisioned it to be with not one part being too tight or too loose.
I love all the suits, shirts and pants done by Mohan’s Custom Tailor so much and since then I have been a regular customer of Mohan’s Custom Tailor and have been getting whatever I need from there monthly . Once they have your measurments and fitting notes the process get even more seamless. Needless to say I will be using Mohan’s Custom Tailor exclusively in the future. Do support them!

I was browsing and searching online for a good, yet affordable tailor in Singapore, and that was when I chanced upon Mohan's Tailors. Their name came up repeatedly in several blogs and websites, and I decided to give it a shot as I wanted to make a suit for my work.
I was served personally by Mohan and as per the reviews, he demonstrated extensive knowledge about suits making process. He was also very accommodative to my requests, where all of them were taken in by him without question. He was genuine in serving and fulfilling my needs.
Would highly recommend to make a trip down to this place.

I am a regular visitor to Singapore. approximately Twenty five years ago I came upon Max and his team by chance after having used other tailors in Singapore. He made a dinner suit which I still wear to this day. I was so impressed with the his advice and the standard of workmanship by his team that I have been a regular customer since then. Over all those years he and his team have made jackets, trousers, and shirts for me and done so with perfection. Indeed, when I wear his garments I am often asked from where I got them.

Hi. I think they can do rush jobs if you need in 2-3 days, but it's always better if they have time to do a fitting and fine tune the fit. Once they have your measurements they can ship additional pieces to you anywhere in the world.

Hello. Hard to answer that exactly as you will negotiate. For example, i recently bought 2 wool suits and 5 shirts for $1100AUD. Made to fit me excatly. At the start of negotiations the price was almost $2000. Go in on your first day in Singapore, be exact in details of what you want (their not mind readers and you must be happy your getting what you want). Be prepared to walk out if your not happy with your price. Its only clothe. Remember to keep your receipt to claim tax back at the airport. Sometimes they may tell you a final price then add tax on. Take your time on final fitting and dont leave until your happy.
Mohans is not bargain basement cheap, its not Vietnam, but id say worth the money.

I'm not certain as there are a variety of materials and colors to choose from. It depends upon your particular taste. I would go to the shop and see what is available and then discuss prices Note that clothing is custom made and remember that material is charged by how much is required so a larger person such as myself might pay a few dollars more as more material is required.
