It is definitely worth to visit. I felt refresh after the 15min session and did not expect myself to sweat that much in such a short time. The staff there was very friendly and attentive. Will head back there again for more

My Singapore girl friend recommended me to try this foot spa. Since I did quite some shopping and golf in this trip, I planned to pamper myself by having fish head noodle as lunch in China Town and have a relaxing treatment to end my trip.
It is a simple decor cosy place. The bubble water treatment just took about 30 min but I felt totally relaxed. The lady chose 4 different kinds of oil to suit my preference and conditions. I followed her suggestion to put both my foot and hands in the water. This made me feel stronger of the body circulation. I like the smell of the oil and I found my whole body (not only the hands and foot) much slighter after the treatment. Will certainly go back and recommend friends to go.

My dad has been suffering with knee pain for years.. Took him to Portaspa after a friend recommended - It's only been a few treatments and now his knee pain is no longer there! What a miracle.
The staff are also very friendly and patient with him. I know my dad is in good hands as the staff have very good product knowledge as well.
He is now their very loyal customer and goes at least once a week. It's amazing how he is so persistent on going regularly as he's usually nonchalant about things. I guess the good result is really motivating him. :)
Would also like to add that I have tried their treatments as well. Portaspa is also a wonderful place to relax and let all my stress melt away after a hard day of work.
Highly recommended to visit!

This was our first time at PortaSpa, and having the feet massaged in the water felt very relaxing. The water does get hot but the temperature is monitored for you as they do ask you to tell them if it gets too hot. It felt good for me and I really enjoyed the steam through my legs and body. It was amazing that after 30mins, I felt lighter and great on the feet. I was relaxed but at the same time able to do so much more after. That day after the PortSpa I must of walked more than any other day while in Singapore, I felt great. It really works and your body does feel better. I look forward to visiting PortaSpa again and I would recommend it to others to give it a try.

I went to the SPA thinking that i will be able to do 5 different actions in 30mins effectively and i am absolutely wrong. Had to admit its my problem, i might have mis-understood the promotional information in the website. Hence still proceed with the 37$ trial (original 60$) hoping that it will help me with my stubborn body aches and insomnia as well.
Went to the branch @HillView
(a) In term of direction, it would be great to just put in simply this branch is inside salvation thrift shop. i took sometime to walk around salvation army to find the location. No problem with it, i was expecting a nice environment in the spa place.
(b) Greeted with a small booth for PortaSpa with a series of cubicles that was separated with curtains. Each booth had a foot bath thing and water heater like what we typically see in our HDB? ...
(c) The uncle at Hillview is very friendly. afterall, he is just doing his job. Hence totally fine.
(4) Aromatherapy: based on what we filled up in the question sheet, we are being "treated" with the right aroma therapy whereby this is nothing special. even the essence oil bottle looks from asian country with chinese words but the uncle told me its all from germany. Ok. benefit of doubt.
(e) The treatment is really 30mins of bubble foot bath in 40~42 degree water. subjective to different ppls, 40degree to me is torture hot hence the uncle keep helping to add water and monitor temperature. anyway, after some time, the feet got used to the heat and ... well, end up bearable. And the small tiny cubicle is cover up with all the heat and steam from the foot bath raising to the body and face. OMG! its really stuffy but it could also be the purpose of the whole treatment.
Overall, its worth to try, take it with a simple mind, no expectation thats the best.
30mins for 37$ for the first time, if i know its this expereince, i would not have tried but nonetheless, it could be effective for all others.
To be fair, i felt slightly less stiff on the neck one small area after 30mins of soaking but still .... i think i will not go again for the stress more then destress
It was really a relieve after 30mins in the stuffy area .. :)
I am writing based on personal experience and still recommend if you like to try. just that out of all the positive reviews you might want to also lower the expectation too.

We will do our best to improve our website communication to state clearly that our 30 mins Nature Spa is a 5-IN-1 treatment using technologies to bring up the body temperature through the heat therapies.
We would like to explain to you our Nature Spa treatment is similar to you doing a slow jog. After 30 mins, you will feel like you have completed a long distance running, start to perspire and the internal warming of your body will bring an improvement of the blood circulation which is effective to treat sore muscles, aches and pain plus injuries.
We are glad that you have mentioned you feel slightly less stiff on the neck after the treatment – which is our natural healing treatment is all about.
Based on your feedback,
(a) We agree that the mention of our outlet located inside the Mega Family Store in The Salvation Army was not prominent which have caused you missing out on the information. We have now updated the website to ensure clarity of location.
(b) Our spa booth is specially designed with its own space with the installation of translucent curtains is to ensure our customer maximise their treatment to do deep breathing in of the negative ions which are ”trapped” within the curtains while taking a power nap.
(c) Thank you for finding our staff to be friendly and being professional in doing his best to make sure that the water temperature is finally bearable for your acceptance.
(d) The Aromatherapy that we used is unique as they are water-soluble and could be absorbed into the blood streams of your body through the skin pores of the feet to treat different ailments. We would also like to confirm that our Essential oils and spa salts are formulated in Germany and the Chinese words you seen are printed by the manufacturer as they are marketing the same products in Taiwan and China. We are happy to show our customers the packaging if they need us to reconfirm the formulation is from Germany.
(e) We do understand that not everyone has the inclination to accept the hot spring temperature of 40~42 degree. In future, our staff will check with our customers on this aspect of water temperature tolerance level to ensure they have an enjoyable treatment throughout the whole process.
Once again, thank you for your valuable feedback to us and if you could give us another chance to service you again, we can give you a Complimentary treatment to experience Nature Spa at your acceptable water temperature for the Ultrasonic Bubbles Foot Therapy. My first time trying the spa treatment on the 30min power nap. When I came I was feeling tired, stress,neck stiffnes. After the treatment I feel relax and I do not feel stress. Whole body feel relieve and lighter! Thumbs up for the treatment!

I visited the outlet at Hillview on 10th March 2018 after a 10km morning walking from the MacRitchie Reservoir,my legs and feet were really tiring. Then I came to this treatment session at Hillview, it just nicely helped me to get refreshed from the tiredness. After the 30mins treatment, I felt my legs and feet become lighter and whole body feeling refreshed. If you have not tried it before, I think it really worth you for trying. And Janice( the founder) is really helpful as well : )

It was interesting to learn more about this form of natural therapy which doesn't produce much side effects. It's painfree and very relaxing. I enjoy the aromatherapy component of this treatment and most importantly, the staff there is really friendly and very attentive. I would definitely head back again with my family and friends.
