Tired of the CNY Lo Hei and buddies opted for a Western twist to the gathering. Its been quite a few years since I last dined at SCC Terrace Cafe and the favorite food like Fish&Cips, Beef Burger, Fried Chicken Wings, ...etc. remain good like before, price reasonable n friendly waitresses... Great Night out!

I came here with my friend who is a member of this country club (and I am not a member, by the way), and also with my kids and his. On that afternoon, he first brought me to the Bowling alley, where my kids and his had 1.5 hours of fun. The lanes are in pretty good condition, but be careful! There are only 8(I think) lanes there and can and will fill up FAST. Luckily it was off-peak so no one was there. Pretty cheap pricing. Really good variety of Bowling balls and there are enough 6 pounds(around 2kg) balls so friendly for kids!
Then we had lunch at the restaurant next to the Golf course. Nice views of the picturesque landscape, prices were reasonable for our pockets. There is a huge variety of food from local to international.
However, the pricing for the membership is rather high, not really worth it even though you get good rebates for the food. Not really worth the membership, don’t buy it unless you really love Golf, then it is okay.

We are not members but patronize the club especially on Wednesdays which is their BBQ night.
Food is good and they have a wide variety. The beer is so fresh as well. Prices are reasonable.

It was a simple weekday afternoon lunch. Old school pool table and chairs for dining, non-aircon style. However it was abit sunny that day. Sun was glaring.

The waitresses were typical banquet style. Food was ok, average. Ordered a rojak, curry chicken rice, beehoon goreng and chicken chop. Chicken chop tasted frozen. Ordered chin chow drink, average tasting.

There’s a toilet at the side, looks renovated, but only a single toilet unit for 1 pax.

We walked around the porch and waiting area where there was a big curve staircase up second floor. The kids liked the staircase and the balcony.

Free parking but very very hot under the sun.

I played Seletar on a week day morning. It was just great. The course itself is very interesting: long, a bit technical but fair well designed and superbly maintained. But what makes the experience of golfing at Seletar a bit more pleasant is the overall atmosphere that you get at the club from the moment you arrive to the changing room and the terrace cafe. The people are very friendly, very relax and so helpful...The food is good and the overall setting makes you feel more like a park than at a golf course. So much better than many of these other busy business minded golf clubs in Singapore..

We joined the Seletar Country Club as lifestyle members and have enjoyed every minute so far. The club is set in a large tranquil area with beautiful surroundings and landscaping seldom seen in land scarce Singapore. The staff are super friendly at the gym and swim counters. The dressing rooms lack for nothing and are scrupulously clean. Food and beverage is above average with a wide selection. Truly a great get away from busy city life

Our relatives very kindly took us to Seletar club as their guests when we were visiting Singapore and we loved it. Great pool for kids - shallow enough at the shallow end and slide which they loved. Food was amazing - try the fried rice with anchovies!! all areas including changing rooms and toilets were spotlessly clean. If we lived there we would join!

I am a member of Seletar cc and i must say (unbiased) that this golf course is challenging yet enjoyable at the same
Time. Every serious golfer must play this course.

Some may go here for golf and other outdoor activities. Our Asia-Pacific headquarter is close by, so I go here for lunch whenever I am visiting. Traditional Malay / Indonesian/Chinese kitchen with some more typical US/UK bar food twist to it, too. Loads of expat's come here, so makes good sense. The food is good quality (try the curry chicken with rice, delicious) and the price level is moderate after Singapore standard. Lot of history to the Seletar area, read up on Wikipedia etc and get a treat !

There are golf country clubs and there golf country clubs in Singapore. Some are chic chic up there in the levels, with members from high society.

But, what the h&^*, you paid for a country club to ENJOY the facilities, bring family and friends to hang out.

Seletar stands out, because of its members. Every one is so friendly, maybe its because of the profile of the members - no over-rated attention getting VIPs, no prominent individual, no billionaires, no millionaires.. just plain decent, courteous members.

It stands out, because the food is EXCELLENT. Great local fare !

The Satay puts Satay club to shame. At Seletar you get chunky meaty satay regardless if you order Chicken or Pork. No such thing as shriveled meat on a stick.

Fried hokkien prawn mee, char kuey teow, rojak, etc... ALL GOOD and TASTY !!!

It stands out, because the staff (no matter how hassled they are) are fantastic and always smiles

It stands out, because the club makes it a point to maintain the club with lots of social activities. Dance classes, tae kwondo, etc...

And show me a club with live bands at Seletar Tavern, You end a game of golf, you sit at the open terrace, watch the sun set, listen the band and chat with your golf buddies on that Hole in one that got away
