Do this before deciding whether to eat first at Boat Quay or Clarkes Quay. A great 45 min trip between the sky-scrapers, but also through what was a historical part of S'pore.

An excellent way to see the sites .. This bum boat tour was relaxing and most enjoyable . The boat itself is clean quiet and not over crowded. I f you couldn't go to the top of the sky park at Marina sands and afraid of heights , this is the best view you will see. great photo opportunities.

This is a great way to see several of Singapores "must see" buildings and learn a bit of Singapores history. We only had a few short days in Singapore and this boat tour gives great photo opportunities without all the walking. Make sure you sit in the very back to get the best pictures.

The boat ride is good for visitors, but really doesn't go anywhere that you can't walk to easily. Basically the boat we were on, which seems to be the main route, goes from boat quay to MBS and back. All of these are easily accessible by foot/MRT. The commentary was okay, but a bit melodramatic. We did this boat tour... More

Viewing the sights along the Singapore River from a Bumboat was one of my favorite activities in Singapore. I recommend going at night, when everything is lit up (but paying extra for the one trip each night at the time of the "light show" at Marina Bay is probably not that worth it, since you can see the light show... We travelled on River Tour on our last day at Singapore, and I must tell you it was an awesome experience. We reached to Clark Quay in the evening where we purchased the tickets (23 SGD adult and 18 SGD child). there were man boats, outside view was great, you can capture beautiful pictures. While on the boat we took... More

A bumboat river tour is a great way of exploring Singapore and grabbing a breather while doing it! We combined a trip to Chinatown and Clarke Quay and so the bum boat was a great way to view the sights away from the crowds in the area. There is a running commentary available but quite frankly it was difficult to hear... We went on this trip at night and there is some argument about whether the view at night is more interesting or spectacular than during the day. Boarding was easy, but not if disabled, and we took our seats and eventually there were a group of about 20 people, including unfortunately a group of local children who were very noisy... More

This being my first visit to Singapore, I wanted a way to learn more about the history of this fascinating place. The River Tour provides a great overview of the history of the city, pointing out some of the key areas of the city from the time is was a small fishing village to today. Well worth the time!

We did the S$38 cruise which included a drink (a bottled Singapore Sling or juice) and the Marina Bay laser light show which we viewed from the boat. I really enjoyed the cruise; it was a beautiful night and it was great to see Singapore's skyline lit up like a Christmas tree.
