- KseraSingapore, Singapore1 contributionGood ExperienceOverall, The Escape Artist presented us both an exciting and challenging experience. As a 4 member team, we tried the ‘medium difficulty’ escape room. The hints given were subtle and challenges us to think out of the box. The rooms were also well decorated with props and clues were were thought out and crafted. Our team appreciates the staff’s friendliness and responsiveness as they were quick to provide hints when requested. Despite the overwhelming number of challengers playing their wide selection of games, we admire their promptness and efficiency. All in all, we agreed that it is an experience that have exceeded our expectations. That said, we would definitely recommend this to our family and friends. We look forward to our next visit !Visited March 2021Written April 8, 2021
- Davin HongSingapore, Singapore5 contributionsCount Dracula room was pretty funThe room was harder than expected but there are clues which were not very obvious (very hard to find). The aesthetics is on point and the ambience felt very immersive. I hope Escape Artist would make the clues a little more obvious and the game slightly more than physical than simply walking around and back and forth. Overall, it’s a good experience and i hope to try out their other rooms in the future.Visited January 2020Traveled with friendsWritten January 7, 2020
- Shuchi1 contributionCount Dracula RoomThe room had the right amount of eerie and horror. The room was on the hard side, some of the clues were not obvious and complicated. However, the number of hints were just nice for us to solve the room. It was overall a very fun experience as you get the entire team to think together to solve the room.Visited January 2020Traveled with friendsWritten January 7, 2020

We visited to the new outlet of The Escape Artist since we liked the other rooms in their old outlet which were pretty good. Upon arrival despite booking weeks ahead, we had to wait another 10-15mins for the room to be preset. Even as the male game master was doing the intro, he realised he forgot to hide the key hanging down from the locked gate and stopped his intro midway to leave to get a chair. Another game master entered twice mid game, once to adjust another faulty prop, and another to explain a puzzle to us, DURING the 60 mins which kinda left us short for time. Some puzzles were nice and creative, most were just impossible to even figure out because they didn’t make sense. Immersion wise it was okay, puzzles were somewhat poorly designed, but the game masters were not the best at facilitating the game which really negatively impacted our experience.

The puzzles were stimulating and interesting ! Great as bonding activity for friends, family, ranging from physical challenges to stimulating challenges, you will never get bored ! Puzzles are also original, setup and storyline is very intriguing, allowing you to be immersed into the game itself. Sufficient clues were given, good level of difficulty while still being able to solve the puzzles and the setups were very realistic. Overall great experience, managed to escape !

My team attempted Last Light, which has the highest difficulty rating. Indeed it lived up to it.
The puzzles were challenging and we weren't able to escape in the 1 hour limit. We felt that some of the answers to the locks / puzzles were quite obscure and not intuitive. [Puzzle answer method spoiler ahead, skip to the next paragraph if you do not want to be spoilt!! >>] One of the puzzles involves Amidakuji, which is not something that many people would be aware of.
Overall, the ambience was great and the added physical element is not something I have experienced in many other escape rooms -- it was very cool. The lock mechanisms were also quite unique. The staff were very friendly, patient, and helpful with their hints. I hope to come back again to try their other escape rooms one day.

first time playing in an escape room, the staff were very friendly and professional, and explained things very clearly. the puzzle was fun and challenging, a lot of lateral thinking was needed. The staff gave good clues, without giving anything away. The location is almost immediately adjacent to Harbour Front MRT, making it extremely accessible. The game lasted an hour, which was a good timing, and there are a lot of nice spots to eat or drink outside to refresh afterwards. The staff kindly offered to take a pic of us as we left as a momento. We are planning to go again shortly.

The room was very, very challenging as I had expected from their official website in their description. The clues were not obvious and have multiple interpretations. Despite being unable to solve the room, my team and I enjoyed the experience and we hope to tackle the other rooms in the future!

Returned to try out an actual physical escape room "Night before the Storm' at the new Harbourfront outlet. The experience did not disappoint as the puzzles and layout were in theme, well-designed. The nice staff also explained the story concept and gave hints very patiently. An excellent bonding chance for us friends.

My friends and I decided to go to an escape room together as most of us had never been before. The puzzle was actually quite interesting and moderately challenging - really good for beginners! We chose Count Dracula and had an hour to solve everything and escape. The props looked pretty realistic and the staff was really nice. Highly recommend!

We played two rooms and both were challenging and the best part was the staff was willing to give unlimited hints. Only hints were given but not the actual answers so it will still require some intelligence to get to the answers. Look out for Fave discounts, it can help you save some money.

Played a game at the Bukit Timah branch. Puzzles were great & it was fun to play. Unfortunately, they had set up one of the locks wrongly, so we spent some time solving a puzzle only to open an empty chest with no clues inside.

Thank you for the feedback and it is unfortunate to hear about the technical error. We have recently opened a new Sentosa Gateway outlet that features cool mechanism and unique room layout unlike any others. A new hero system is also introduced to give players an even more experiential involvement to the game and we look forward to having you here again soon and we promise no more such glitches =)

Had a great time doing this but enjoyed the Dracula one far better than the flashpoint. The Dracula one is more about puzzles and where as the other is focused more or codes to be deciphered. Would recommend Dracula as our whole group enjoyed this one the best.

Hello! There are no jump scares in the game. Only scary props and references. Our focus is more on the puzzle solving and gameplay :) hope that helps!
