I called the Singapore Science Centre's Customer Service Number to confirm the prices for my Family (Dependent and Employment Pass Holders).

The lady that answered the phone must of been upset / angry that she was required to work on New Year's Eve as she was incredibly unfriendly.

This place does not recognise EP, S-Pass or Dependant Pass Holder's meaning we are required to pay "tourist" prices. Perhaps the only attraction in Singapore that does this.

Avoid if you are a EP, S-Pass or Dependant Pass Holder.

Touted as one of the best Science Centre in the world and I believe so after this visit. Some of the exhibits are from my younger days and it brought much memories of yesteryears. The new exhibits are engaging and good fun to play with. If it is enjoyable for adult, it is definitely good enough for the kids. We've got a package which includes Omnitheatre as well. Due to COVID-19, time was restricted to 3 hours only. There was a section on evolution of butterflies, which was pretty interesting. Some of the things had to be rushed through, but we did what we could. Wish the time is slightly longer though.

Nothing much to see. My 8 year old son feels bored half way through the omnitheatre show. So we when to see the science exhibits. Most of the stations and exhibits were closed. The butterfly up-close didn't have much to see as well. We only saw ants crawling on the fruit platter.

Science centre no longer is a place to ignite curiosity and knowledge anymore than just a few write ups on wooden boards.

I was very disappointed with my visit as it was such a wonder when I was a kid.

I am visiting this place after 40 years and it has evolved in a timely fashion with the latest innovative scientific information and tests. This time around I was with my wife and son. They had a wonderful time. Tickets were very decently priced and considering the heavy downpour there was still many visitors to the centre.

The curiosity shop upon exit is a very good bargain for the money. You can actually use your $5 coupon to redeem a gift without a minimum spend. How good is that? The Staffs are friendly throughout the centre. Keep up the good work! 😁

This was indeed an amazing day filled with many exceptional lessons and most importantly it was educational. The best part was the Indian restaurant called Phoenix at the entrance. Amazing food and service!

Singapore Science Centre has been around for several decades ... since I was a kid. This is the 2nd visit in a month during the school holidays that I brought my 4 children there, 9-19 years old and this place continues to amaze them. I asked my 19 year old if she enjoyed the visit and she said yes.. it still amazed her. My 18 year old was the most familiar with the exhibits and she brought us to see all the interesting exhibits and explained to us the theory behind the exhibits.

As Christmas is just round the corner, we participated in the Xmas trail and several hands on activities. One of them was building Santa’s sleigh and test if our sleigh worked on the ramp. Another activity was making an ornament and we were given a lighted LED bulb to attach to our ornament. There were several other activities that we participated like solving puzzles, Mission in a spaceship. But our favourite was the Mirror Maze. We visited this exhibit twice and my 9 year old was the first to get out of the maze. He learnt about the different types of mirrors and the images formed and so on. It was really fun for everyone in the family.

This attraction is geared more towards kids and teens, but there is also enough to keep adults entertained. Learning never stops. Strongly recommend the Laser Maze (separate ticket required), Mirror Maze and Phobia exhibits.

Although located far away from MBD, this is a must-visit. The Science Center is vast and very captivating for young teens and adults alike. The exhibits and models explaining the concepts, theories and observations are just fantastic. Very educative and in an interesting way. Should take 3+ hours if you want to spend good quality time here.
The 360-degree dome theatre is an awesome experience. The show that we got was quite informative, and fun, too!

When I bought my ticket (on a Monday at noon), I was told that there were fewer than normal number of children. While I did encounter two groups of rowdy kids during my 5 hours, I saw very few kids. So, I had no problem getting my hands on the many many exhibits and demos. I did not read about everything. I did not see everything. So, 5 hours was not enough time. Try to be there for the noon Tesla coil show. I paid $12.

Brought my wife and son to this center and was not disappointed.
I even had to keep up with my young son (Who usually gets bored quite easily) as he kept trying all the exhibits there.
