I called the Singapore Science Centre's Customer Service Number to confirm the prices for my Family (Dependent and Employment Pass Holders).

The lady that answered the phone must of been upset / angry that she was required to work on New Year's Eve as she was incredibly unfriendly.

This place does not recognise EP, S-Pass or Dependant Pass Holder's meaning we are required to pay "tourist" prices. Perhaps the only attraction in Singapore that does this.

Avoid if you are a EP, S-Pass or Dependant Pass Holder.

Last time I visited this place in my childhood. That time there was lots of interesting things. Still can remember that dummy Einstein was giving lectures.. There was one real chopper can rotate the rare fan. Full flight experience of Singapore Airlines. Now a days they have improved, its true. Lots of things can be enjoyed. Finally it's a nice place to learn with enjoyment.

This attraction is geared more towards kids and teens, but there is also enough to keep adults entertained. Learning never stops. Strongly recommend the Laser Maze (separate ticket required), Mirror Maze and Phobia exhibits.

We always enjoy a trip to the science centre. Unfortunately they have removed the option to buy tickets in person and you are required to buy online with a credit card. I hate arriving somewhere with excitement then spending the first 5 minutes looking at my phone. Also, you are required to share your phone number, email and nationality when you purchase tickets.

Touted as one of the best Science Centre in the world and I believe so after this visit. Some of the exhibits are from my younger days and it brought much memories of yesteryears. The new exhibits are engaging and good fun to play with. If it is enjoyable for adult, it is definitely good enough for the kids. We've got a package which includes Omnitheatre as well. Due to COVID-19, time was restricted to 3 hours only. There was a section on evolution of butterflies, which was pretty interesting. Some of the things had to be rushed through, but we did what we could. Wish the time is slightly longer though.

A wonderful, interactive centre with interesting child friendly, hands on displays. Different rooms permitted the children to learn and experience life under the sea, in space and understand phobias (whilst getting a little scared in a room of 'scares').
Our children particularly enjoyed the butterfly room, where numerous butterflies fly around and interact with the beautiful horticulture.
Our visit was during the week and it was very quiet, this also meant the advertised showd were not available. Sadly, due to the rain the children were unable to use the fantastic wet play area, but were we to return, we'd make this a priority. Highly recommend.

The rules pertaining to Butterflies Up Close need to be clear and consistent. While we are aware we are not to touch the butterflies, the staff manning the enclosure told our 7-year old that while she may not hold the butterflies by the wings, she is allowed to let the butterflies land or climb onto her hand.

Subsequently, she was chided for doing this “too many times” without explaining how many is too many and why the change in rules.

This is not acceptable to me and confusing to a child this age. Perhaps the Science Centre can clarify this.

Great place including kinetic play area in the garden was fun which was free. The mirror maze was the Highlight and so much for the kids to learn if you take the time. Cafe was a bit strange.. we wanted a coffee but the queue was outside this fence.. not sure how to get to it so we gave up.
Some of the exhibits still were out of action due to covid but so many fun interactive things were still available. Very cool place but a long walk from the MRT in the heat.

Although located far away from MBD, this is a must-visit. The Science Center is vast and very captivating for young teens and adults alike. The exhibits and models explaining the concepts, theories and observations are just fantastic. Very educative and in an interesting way. Should take 3+ hours if you want to spend good quality time here.
The 360-degree dome theatre is an awesome experience. The show that we got was quite informative, and fun, too!

This place is hugely underrated and deserves a higher place in the SIN attractions list, for sure. Lots of educational stands and displays, lots of interactive models, scientific shows and educational arts.

Unfortunately some parents confuse this place with kindergarten or even nursery and bring there toddlers and small kids. The very unpleasant sight to watch tantrums and hysterical cries of younger generation in this worthy and cultural environment. This place is for teenagers (and their parents) whose mind and level of understanding is fit for grasping the idea of using hydrogen in Tesla experiments, for example.

Very entertaining is a section *home of future* located on the second level of major exposition.

At the tickets booth you are allowed to purchase a package like *science centre+snow city* etc. Do not do it. Snow city is a wasting money option, stick to the centre only and enjoy it at full.

As for getting there, better take a taxi, MRT is rather far, and walk is unpleasant especially during rainy season.
