For an amazing model of the area

The model of the city is fabulous as is the ability to highlight significant areas. Fascinating view of city planning efforts.

This gallery is now closed. You can come inside but there are no exhibits, just information brochures and a large interactive screen about Marina Bay's sustainable development

Went during mid afternoon, the crowd was moderate, but did not get in the way of moving thru the exhibit or seeing the items on display. The items were well displayed. It is a very limited display of DiVinci’s work. Those who have seen his work in Italy, Washington and other places will be disappointed.

This small gallery really only consists of a single scale model of the Marina Bay vicinity and the end-state vision once all the construction is complete. What is quite fascinating to observe is that the area currently under construction and yet to be commenced is almost as large as the existing city buildings! There are also some interesting information displays... More

Not much to see here really other than the large interactive model of Singapore that lights up. If you are at the marina area , shops, or marina bay sands you may as well stop in. Otherwise don't go out of your way. The model is interesting and very large and it's cool to see the parts.

This is like an information centre for Singapore. There are flyers for the hotels and attractions in the city and the clerks here are happy to give advice (all for free). The best part about the city gallery however is the 3D map of Singapore. This features all of the city's rivers, canals, skyscrapers, parks and attractions in great detail.... More

We just walked in to escape the heat outside to find a lovely Marina Bay City Plan laid right in front of us. It was interactive and suddenly, out of the blue, the whole room lit up with a light and sound show.

There was a guided tour when I arrived here so I just joined in. It was very informative, explaining the attractions and features around Marina Bay area and it's history. It's free so if you're in the area, do pop in for a visit.

Staying in Marina Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Marina Bay
More of a mini city than a neighborhood in the traditional sense, the iconic Marina Bay aims to dazzle and entertain visitors of all kinds. This is the Singapore found in glossy brochures, featuring a world-class hotel, casino, shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions all geared towards pure entertainment. The SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands provides a stunning view of the city, a must-see photo opportunity for visitors and locals alike. The ArtScience Museum always has a top-quality exhibition, and Gardens by the Bay is a fascinating manifestation of the government’s vision of Singapore as a “city in a garden”. Enticing Marina Bay is well worth a visit.
