The place was a Christian orphanage with a school, and has now become a large complex with many restaurants and bars. Architecture is very interesting.

It is a very unusual place. Here used to be a convent and now become a place full of trendy restaurants and bars. Very unique. A must visit place in SG.

Not at Chijmes. But I recommend you to go to Kampung Glam or go to Arab street for halal food.
