Singapore, Im finding Singapore a vibrant and cosmopolitan city, blending Asian and Western influences to create a unique cultural melting pot. With its lush gardens, pristine streets, and stunning architecture, this 'Garden City' is a feast for the senses. From the mouthwatering street food to the high-end restaurants, Singapore's diverse culinary scene reflects its rich multicultural heritage. The nation's remarkable efficiency, safety, and innovative spirit make it an attractive hub for business and leisure alike. Whether exploring the historic Chinatown, marveling at the iconic Marina Bay Sands, or simply soaking up the warm tropical atmosphere, Singapore's warm hospitality and infectious energy will leave you enchanted and eager to return."

been here several times at daytime whenever i get to visit singapore during business trips. this time around, orchard road wowed me with its lavish display of colors and Christmas decors. the malls along this road had spent quite a budget to illuminate their facade. i would say it's very impressive. just by walking, one gets to enjoy the sights and sound of the city. never come here penniless. part of being in this lion city is to spend for bargain finds especially during sale season.

The street changes with time. The first time I was here was over 20 years ago. According to surviving impressions and old photos, the street was larger and wider, at least visually. Greenery has increased considerably, trees have grown and new buildings have been built. A lot of shopping malls. They're cool, cafes and restaurants. Convenient communications. Shuttle bus. Metro stations. Just don't come at noon - it's hot!

A very crowded high end shopping strip. Seemed to have a lot of people window shopping, but not too many of them carrying shopping bags. It's worth a look even if you can't afford the prices. Some decently priced restaurants along the strip, however, with great food. You go, just to say you've seen. We personally wouldn't go back.

It’s sensational if you want to co some serious luxury shopping! And the customer service at the stores was excellent. If you are a serious shopper you could spend hours here. However if that is not your jam you could check it out and leave within 30 minutes. There are some great little coffee and tea shops though!

Still a shopping haven no matter what the naysayers say and how online shopping is booming. The top malls are Ion, paragon and ngee ann city. Many others are just trying to play catch up. Countless restaurants and cafes to rest while shopping

On the occasion of my son's INSEAD graduation in December 2018 I went with my wife to Singapore and we were fascinated by this truly unique city. Every corner is more beautiful than the other and of course we took lots of photos: Marina Bay, the botanical garden, the Ferris wheel, etc. etc. spending an afternoon evening in the central and beautiful Orchad Road. I recommend everyone to visit Singapore.

Yuletide feels around. From inside and outside of Takashimaya , Ion , Paragon and even Lucky Brand mall , the holiday has been set up. Many street performers abound , so are those plying the classic Singaporean and even Turkish ice cream delights. Displays are already seen from the digital display by Hilton to the huge Christmas tree of Louis Vuitton. Be wary of many underground pedestrian pathway if you want to avoid the humidity or occasional rain showers. Shop and eat till you drop from the basic to the ultra luxurious.

This Hotel offers everything you need for business and pleasure. Relaxed yet smart, its location is central and perfect for public transport. I wrote a review prior to leaving but wanted to reinforce the excellent service and personalized assistance. One thing I appreciate is high-quality linen and a fresh feel to the room. Their sustainable program is definitely forward thinking and appreciated by those of us that want to make both small and big steps.

Orchard Road is generally known as a mecca for shopaholics, and you can easily see why when you walk down the always busy road and into malls such as the Paragon mall or Tanglin mall. All the major and high end brands are represented, and you find just about everything. This said, you find just about everything in other major shopping streets or areas in other cities, such as Causeway Bay in Hong Kong or Ginza in Tokyo. I did not really discover any good deals; on the contrary, many shops were quite expensive if compared to what you'd pay for the same items in Bangkok or Hong Kong. One nice shop to visit is the Liuli Gongfang shop in the Paragon mall; it sells artsy glassware and glass sculptures from the Liuli workshop in Taiwan.

Apart from ice cream, shopping, snacks, what else is new on this legendary street?
I found something new, namely a library. Its name is Orchad@library. It is located on the 3rd floor of the Orchad Central mall building which is located near Takashimaya.

The library is not big and certainly not complete, but the collection is updated. There are serious books, there are also light ones like popular magazines.

Orchard Road alike any established city in the world is built to entice and attract. A visually attractive city that brings out today's modern society and lifestyle.

There is no shortage of shopping and eateries, both locally and for international tastebuds. Orchard Road in Singapore is a modern architecture symbolizing the city life. Late night shopping, late night eatery and late night partying will not be missed in Orchard Road because there is no shortage of it.

If you are coming from Europe or UK then Orchard road will not appeal to you as majority of the shops are available back home, and its not cheaper on orchard road. Dont waste your time shopping there, spend it sight seeing or visiting local areas like paddington. Orchard road is like bond street in London, all high end designers.

Shoppers paradise shop till you drop. There is many foods court in nearly every shopping center. We prefered Takashimaya and Wisma Astria, Gateway is over crowded.

Leave early avoid the the 9pm onward rush hours, hard to get a cab and Grab will charge you more then normal rate!!!!

If you go to Orchard Road, you have to go to Lucky Placa. Here You can buy nearly everything for Cheap, go to the Basement here a lot of Shops who will sell from Souvenirs to Electronic Gear. Also, good and Cheap Shoes are here. And if you are hungry here is a Food Court here where you can eat cheap. Upstairs is a Sketchers Footwears Shoe with bargains to be had.

Orchard road is very long; runs east west in central Singapore. Today I would say I have covered almost all of it but, a rare voice out of the chorus, I have not managed to become passionate about either the shops or the shopping centers that are found along the most commercial stretch. Orchard Road is just an anonymous beating heart of the city's luxury shopping
