All reviews shoppers paradise shop till you drop shopping street high end shopping heaven lucky plaza christmas lights great shopping designer shops international brands window shop ngee ann city shopping experience both sides lots of shops food court takashimaya
Everthing from high end designer ware to cheap & cheerful souvenirs are available in the various Malls in Orchard Road. For an authentic cheap dining experience, try the many different concessions in the food courts located in the basement of the many Malls.
it is nice to stop by here when visiting Singapore to see where the high end shopping is, however i recommend not going on a weekend after 6pm because it can be so crowded that you can't even walk down the street!
Our hotel was on ORCHARD Road..so walking from it to most landmarks has been easy.
You can eat anything on this long road in the heart of the city or buy anything your heart desires. Easy access to several MRT stations.
Orchard Road is the best during evenings with all the lights but it's even better during Christmas. Singaporeans put on the best Christmas show, the shops and shopping centres are beautifully decorated.
If you like crowds and big shops this is the place for you. You will find pretty much any upscale shop that you can think of, located on Orchard Road. It's fun to browse, shop or just people watch here.
Orchard Road is the place to be for shopping of every kind. No matter what your budget there's something for everyone. There are large Malls and smaller department stores, plenty of food outlets providing food from around the world. In one of the Malls there's...More
A must go place for shoppers. No need to debate the malls. Most of the malls offer brands in lots of shopping interests. However, if you are a solo traveler and not much into shopping, I do not recommend it. Although there is one place...More
Firstly I apologise if this seems like a silly question but I was wondering if KL had like a main street as such - similar to Singapore Orchard Road. I would just love to wonder along and see the sights and smells and meander. If this is unrealistic I get it but thought I would ask. Does the city sleep ie are the malls/shops etc open later into the evening. We are travelling with a toddler and again would just like to go out and night have a great meal and watch the world go and perhaps do...More

I have stayed in Copthorne Orchid many times. Currently charging A$129 a night. Clean rooms good service and a great shuttle bus goes hourly to Scotts RD (Near Orchard Rd). Google 'directrooms' to get this price.
