Interesting colourful building

The building is stark and refreshingly very different with its colourful panes. It was a former police station now converted to its present avatar !

Tonight walking around all the migrants from the Philippines were on the floor on mats and blankets playing music singing with it and eating local food Simply beautifully keeping there own culture

City Hall is a Singaporean national monument, gazetted in 1992. It was built between 1926 and 1929 and was originally called the Municipal Building, until 1951 when Singapore was granted city status by King George VI. A place to go shopping. You can shop til you drop!. Robinsons and Marks & Spencer are two places I visit . overall its a great place for shopping besides Takashimaya,OG and Centre point. .

Singapore is great! But one time we accidentally let out or paper lantern when the wind was blowing, so it did not light up. But the Government hotels are really nice!

After a great deal of excellent conservation work the former law courts and civic buildings were re-opened on November 27th 2015 The two old buildings have been joined withe the conventional atrium and have had a face lift which should be of interest to anyone with who likes architectural history. The buildings have been changed into wonderful art exhibition areas... More

I find this section a bit confusing. City Hall is the name of a major MRT station next to St.Andrew's Church. It is also the name of a major shopping-mall called City Hall Mall.
