Love this bar, cool staff and a great vibe. Found it by chance and was truly surprised. If you go when it's quieter, get to know the head barman whose name is Barnaby, great company and a funny guy. With bars charging silly money for everything in Singapore (high tax etc), this place is reasonably priced.

Stumbled across this place in a busy part of town and I'm glad we did. The barman was friendly and helpful. The vanilla rose Cosmo and the elderflower Collins were sublime. Very nice place and great drinks.

Don't forget they add tax 7% and auto tip 10% as with the whole country.

Great bar in lively part of Singapore. It has been revamped since my last visit with the bar being moved to the far end that gives a lot more room at the front of house. Cocktails are excellent and the owner Barnaby is top class.
What ever you want this guy can make for you!

Was at the opening of another bar next door to this place last night, the opening was very busy so a lot of people were out on the street.

Near the end of the evening, around 10pm I'd say, 2 staff members from Bartini were cleaning up in front of their own bar and were complaining that people had left glasses on top of their green wheely bin (hint: don't leave it in the middle of the street then). As I went to put my glass on top of the bin, the young Malay guy told me in a not particularly friendly tone to take the glass and put it inside the other bar because it's from them, to which I replied "that's not my job, I'm a customer". The guy then snatched the glass from me and threw it into the bin, then turned around and said "this isn't your country either, it's my country". This threw me off for a minute as I was frankly flabbergasted that someone would say this, especially in a place like club street that relies on foreigners for it's business.

I wasn't going to let it rest their so I asked the guy numerous times, are you a racist, do you hate foreigners, to which he admitted that yes, he does hate foreigners. He said those words. After this, I told him he was stupid and where did he think his bar would be if there were no foreigners around? There was no coherent reply to this and the female Malay staff member then decided she would also get involved making insults and telling me I was stupid and crazy. They then made a tactical retreat inside the bar and we didn't see them again for the rest of the evening before we left, I think the manager possibly spotted what was going on and told them to go inside but I can't say with any certainty.

So that's it, I've never drunk in this bar and I certainly never will now. It's up to you to decide if you want to give your business to a place that insults potential customers and is racist to boot. I'd love to see the management of the place come on here to try and defend the indefensible, but I won't hold by breath.

Fantastic cocktails! The animal shape biscuits are addictive. The place is slightly small, but grab your drinks and head out, you'll keep coming back for more!

Met some colleagues here for a drink before dinner, its small but busy, just sit outside and watch the beautiful people pass by as Club Street closes to traffic and fills with tables. Only 1 beer and that's Asahi on tap.
