From dining and drinking to lounging and chilling, The Pump Room satisfies in all aspects. Its other outlet at Great World City mall is a great place to knock back a few tasty beers and let the hours pass you by.

This place is pretty good for a late night drink with your friends since they opened quite late until 3am. Service was allright nothing special. Recommended for tourists ans expatriates living nearby the area.

This is a reasonable choice if you are looking for a night of beers and live music. The place tends to get quite busy later on, but earlier in the evening there's no problem getting in and getting somewhere to sit. Food is fairly average.

We visited the Pump Room on Clarke Quay ,about 1.30 am on 23 Feb 2014.The place was already crowded, the waiter showed us around and fortunately we had a place to sit , shared with other people.
The atmosphere was nice ,and a nice band was playing with a lot of energy.
The dance floor was packed with people. Some people just sit and drink while other people were having their meals, mainly of beef themed cuisine.
Entrance fee is $ 25 for men and $ 20 for ladies, inclusive of one Mocktail, House pour wine and spirits, or Arcipelago Beers, Microbrewery beers and Bottled Beer.
Reasonable priced drinks and foods ,about $ 10-12 for beer, wines and spirits, a lot to choose from ,and they had a lot of promos, depends on which night you are visiting.Crowds were locals and expats from 25 to 45's.Too bad we didn't manage to try the foods here.
Just log on to their site pumproomasia to see their promos and happy hours.
Business hours : Sun 3.00 pm to 3.00 am,Mon 5.00 pm to 11.00 pm,Tue 5.00 pm to 3.00 am, Wed 5.00 pm to 5.00 am, Thu 5.00 pm to 5.00 am , Fri 5.00 pm to 5.00 am, Sat 5.00 pm to 5.00 am,Eve or Public holidays 5.00 pm until 5.00 am.
This place was accessible via various transports available in Singapore such as MRT (Clarke Quay) and Taxis, just be sure for the return time ,because last MRT service is on 24.00.
Definitely worthed to be visited !

Went to have the food there on 9th June 2014.

Ordered the weekly special of Pork. The pork was so tough I had a hard time cutting through it.
Could be yesterday's leftovers.

My friends had the pasta and the rib eye..it was just ok.

Not going there again for food surely.

Went here had ribs and chips. Ribs arrived cold so they reheated them. On the return the chips were the same ones so were totally cold. Ribs were tough, complained about the chips being totally cold and 5 minutes later some over cooked chips arrived. No apology no compensation . On receiving the bill I said how appalling it was and she said nothing. Also the WORST PART WAS 20 SINGAPORE DOLLARS FOR 2 SMALL DIET COKES.
We will never return. They could’ve apologised and made things better but no. Total rip off on drinks

have been there 2 weeks back. band has changed - before: great and high level, now: ok.
location was empty :-o ... i´ve never seen this location being not full - this may be a result of the band change.
however: drinks are still high-price ... no special offers spotted.

S$26 for a single G&T (£13) !!
sat outside to watch the world go by. Noticed the live band inside and had a quick look. Can they really charge S$12 just for a tonic water?

I visited The Pump Room at Clarke Quay recently and thought it was a pretty cool place. I'd already been to the one at Great World City, which is a more intimate setting...the one at the Quay is made for eating and dancing, and seems popular with people in their 30's-40's. There was a mix of expats and locals when we were there. My partner and I got a bite to eat--if you like red meat, go for the steak and fries...you can't go wrong. Their burgers looked good too, but if you're into something else, they also have pasta, chicken, etc on the menu. Also, they have a LOT of beer to choose from...in fact, more than a lot of restaurants in the States. Try their house ale (they have a microbrewery on-site, which you can read about here http://www.pumproomasia.com/beer.html).
As for music, we got to hear the band a bit before we headed out for another commitment, but they were really good. They seemed to be enjoying themselves on stage and the dance floor filled up pretty quickly...I'm a bit more reserved (I can't dance!), but I got a smile on my face watching people unwind and let it all hang out. Overall, a cool eatery...even if you aren't into dancing, I agree with bs_cb, it is a lot of fun, the food was sumptuous and reasonably priced (paid less than $100 for 2), the staff was nice, and we got some good, live entertainment. Worth a visit...two thumbs up!

They have the best singers, best band, can sing various songs from 60-current popular hit songs. Get few shots of liquor and join the band on the dance floor.
The band starts at 10.45pm, and takes quite a long break in between, make sure you don't have curfew. I heard their dishes are not bad, worth a try.
