See the colourful coral right in front of your eyes or swim in one of St John’s Island’s many lagoons. You might also like to enjoy a pleasant picnic on the beach or go dolphin spotting by the water.

One of the best trip to St. John's Island in March 2016

We stayed one nite at the Dormitory which can accommodate up to 60 pax. It's so clean and spacious. Love it.. We walked to Lazarus Island and had a great time. Will definitely... read more

Fantastic place to unwind and relax. We took a morning ferry from the Marina South Pier. The island itself is essentially a small park with an interesting story behind it as it used to be a quarantine zone for ill people (among other uses). There were maybe 10 people already on the island carrying some gardening / repair / painting... More

If you need to get away from main island Singapore's hustle and bustle, St John would be a nice place to have real conversations with your family and friends. Pack your own picnic, as there would be no shops there. Also a great place for those that have the sense of adventure. If you love cats, this is also a... More

There doesn't seem to be a separate TripAdvisor page for Lazarus Island, so I combine the reviews of the two. The ferry trip was straightforward - although a bit pricy at $18 - but it gives you a feeling that you're going on a mini-vacation for the day. Take note that the ferry timings are mostly strict and it departs... More

Lazarus has a good beach, but it is now filled with all sort of rubbish dumped by picnickers and yachters who were too lazy to pick the own rubbish to dispose properly them on St John Island. When will these people grow up?

Great island to escape from city life. Good for adults and older kid to experience simple island life. No cafes and modern facilities - which is a refreshing change in this day and age.

Although some websites claim St John's and Lazarus islands have the best beaches in Singapore (a review was even comparing to Boracay), there are no more than smaller than small beaches full of grass up to the high water line. The water was not that pristine when i visited and lazarus beaches were badly littered. As mentioned in other reviews,... More

Should bring food and water there is no shops on the island. Good places to hangout with friends and family if you want to... More

Spent a day at St John's and Lazarus Island just exploring the area. Getting to the islands was easy, just hop on to a ferry at the Marina South Pier. Tickets costs S$18 per person, and can be obtained at the orange desk. There are only limited scheduled ferries to the island during the weekdays; effectively one for you to... More

St John's Island is connected to Lazarus Island, which has the most gorgeous beach in Singapore! Its really clean, isolated, quiet. Best to go on weekdays as there are lesser private yachts there. Do keep in mind that there is only one washroom on Lazarus Island with only a hose, no proper shower. Many cats mainly on St John's Island... More
