Under repair
Feb 2020
Between tripadvisor and my travel book, I had really wanted to see this mosque. The pictures are amazing. Unfortunately, when my wife and I arrived it was under construction being repaired. Hopefully it will be back open soon.

Eye catching- beautiful Mosque
Oct 2019 • Couples
Wednesday evening 23rd of October we were in Little India and we briefly visited this holy place.

This Mosque is located on Dunlop Street, which is a turn off Serangoon Road.

The exterior of the Mosque was rather eye catching with its ornate front with the pillars and large sundial over the main entrance.

The sundial has 25 rays emanating from the centre, each ray has a name of a prophet inscribed on it.

There are a number of small turret like structures and the building is covered with stars.

Building of the Mosque was completed in 1910. In 1979 it was designated as a National monument of Singapore.

We stopped here fleeting but long enough to be impressed by this beautiful building.

Colorful mosque, small but nice to see
May 2019 • Friends
The mosque is not very big, but nicely decorated. Staff is very friendly, even if you have to cover up yourself when not dressed appropriately.

Don't miss this mosque!!!
Apr 2018 • Solo
This mosque has the most amazing facade! The architecture is called Moorish - Victorian and it's buttery yellow and dark sap green in colour. There are many minarets or minaret shaped towers and the whole building is covered in stars, crescent moons and a huge ornate sundial with 25 rays and the name of the 25 prophets written on each one. It's absolutely jaw-dropping in its unique decorative style. Don't miss it!

Beautiful architecture
Jan 2018 • Solo
Beautiful architecture! The mosque welcomes non-Muslim visitors outside pray times to have a look around. Guide was available to show you around. Visitors needed to be dressed modestly (over clothes are available to be worn) if they wished to enter the mosque. Around the mosque are good Southern Indian (Tamil Nadu?) teashops and restaurants.
