Big small. All the stores are dealing with the Chinese products. You can get many varieties of Chinese products at reasonable rate.

We made two visits to the markets, there were clothing & manchester stalls with a good range and great value for money.
Stall holders were friendly but not pushy and language was no problem.
After shopping we were able to relax with a meal, and watch the world go by. Another wonderful expierience

Came here to search for some vintage toys I collect (Masters of Universe from the '80ies) and found a heaven for action figures (new or 2nd hand one) and vintage toys in general. Very good also for souvenirs and to hunt some old stuff.

There is not information or announcement pertaining to it. So disappointed to find out myself when I go down personally to confront a building which is all closed for renovations.

This place had been turn my judgement up side down about this area. I was reluctant to come and visit this place, most of the time when I travel to Singapore. My last trip becoming the new beginning. Even though I was coming to that area during raining time, I found out the flea market becoming more interesting to visit and window shopping, but the culinary area was the most excitement area to visit and dine! With new refurbish area, new food display and cover from rain.

Since we are arriving to Singapore at Sunday, then this place should be well in my itinerary
the Flea market is held only on weekends (sunday i think) from 9 til 4/5 pm
occupies the aisles of the building from 1st to 2nd floor.
Easiest way to get here is by bus (by MRT from chinatown, you will have to walk further for 10 minutes)
Lots of collectibles here, most are toys, there are also some crafts and clothings, few vintage stuffs non-toy related also sold here
for collectors, be sure to bring LOTS of cash

I bought some dressing gowns for around 10 Singapore dollars. There was a lot of choice and some cheap souvenirs. There were some great temples to look at close by - free to enter - you need to leave your shoes outside. Taxis are very cheap in Singapore so it is very easy to get around.

It is certainly colourful with stall after stall of Chinese made goods. If you want to take back home a little something that will cost you a few dollars then have a look here. For us it was a walk through experience.
