Palais Renaissance is actually a really great place for me to just chill and catch up with friends. It has really good food such as from P. Bistro and PS Cafe. Though situated at the bustling Orchard area, Palais Renaissance offers are rather private dining experience where I can just slow down my pace and enjoy some quality time with my friends. Also, it offers a variety of exclusive clothes, accessories and services that are not commonly seen in other Singapore malls. I really think it’s worth shopping there!

I've always thought of Palais Renaissance as a place for the rich only. However, in my recent visit to the mall, I realised that there's so much I'm missing for not being there. There's a good mix of retailers at the mall, including fashion, hair services, body services, home+living as well as food. Apart from the popular PS Cafe, there are also other options for food including P.Bistro, Jing Hua and Ishinomaki. I'll recommend visiting this place with your girlfriends for a relaxing day's out!

This mall is located at Tanglin area, and is next to the Royal Thai embassy.

They house high end fashion brands, piano gallery and watch gallery.

There are several cafes and restaurants here which offers a nice place to hang out for the afternoon for lunch and tea.

Got some great stuff for the wardrobe and some amazing quick bites in the cafe. A little pricey, but worth visiting if you dont mind paying a little extra.

I liked the location of everything. very close.
But be aware, Singapore is not as clean as a couple of years ago! People intend not to be very friendly any more. Singaporeans - something to work on!

We actually went here to eat at the PS Cafe but had a look around afterwards to burn off some calories! Seems to be more high end stores from around the world. Great window displays. There were benches to sit on if you need to get off your feet!

Not sure why this mall is still here or how it survives. No shop or restaurant of note. No shoppers either

But the celebrity hair salon Passion is here

Visited this mall on a Tuesday morning. Pretty quiet and deserted. From what I see, it's more high end international brand names boutiques in the mall.

You do find a salon, some fashion shops and an eatery. Nothing interesting the mall is mostly empty you can park your car here if you are unable to find parking elsewhere.

It's not far from my hotel, so I went to Siam Smith for a late lunch. I ordered beef noodles, which were very delicious! The beef was thin and tender, and the sauce had a complex flavor that I really liked. I ordered the dry version, so it came with soup, which also had a deep flavor of cinnamon or five-spice powder.

I also ordered stir-fried chicken with basil, rice, pineapple fried rice, mango salad, fried shrimp paste, and four drinks for an additional $100. Everything was delicious.

The interior was nice and neat.

I heard there's one in Kichijoji, so I'll check it out.
