This is my second review of FunVee City Tour. This time I tried two of their routes but did not get off at any of the stops.
Compared to last time, it was more difficult to find the office where I had to redeem my...More
FunVee city tour is a good option for sight seeing in Singapore. We loved their double Decker buses with live commentary. The air conditioning was good and they were clean. We took a one day unlimited pass and did quite a lot of sight seeing...More
After buying a 1 day 24 hour pass ticket the driver told us it was 1 hour only even though clearly marked and nothing to state anything about 1 hour.
Then after a short ride he got everyone to get off the bus and arrogantly...More
If you are short of time, but want to fit in as much as possible, this is a good way to go. Although the buses are a bit past their best, for a way to see the highlights of the city, this is a good...More
This is a good value if you want to have a look around but definitely not a good option if you want to soak in the vibrant culture of Singapore.
Me and my wife live in SG and decided to take one of these hoppers,...More
We were trying to save money (this orange bus is about half the price of the main hop on and off bus) but this was a very false economy. There was very limited commentary (English only) and very little history or area covered. What there...More
Our second time with this tour group. Derek Koo, Tour Consultant at Esplanade Xchange (located at Esplanade MRT) provided us with exceptional information . The funvee orange hop on hop off bus is great value for money (cheaper than the Red bus tours). A $25...More
Took FunVee Open Top Bus from klook.
This is a very good option to do all the must places in Singapore. It took us to all the places we needed to be at. There was green line and the orange line we could take. However,...More
We had tickets from our hotel for the hop on hop off tour for the day. We enjoyed going around Singapore on the top of the bus. We went once round without getting off and then decided exactly where we would go. We chose to...More
More of a mini city than a neighborhood in the traditional sense, the iconic Marina Bay aims to dazzle and entertain visitors of all kinds. This is the Singapore found in glossy brochures, featuring a world-class hotel, casino, shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions all geared towards pure entertainment. The SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands provides a stunning view of the city, a must-see photo
opportunity for visitors and locals alike. The ArtScience Museum always has a top-quality exhibition, and Gardens by the Bay is a fascinating manifestation of the government’s vision of Singapore as a “city in a garden”. Enticing Marina Bay is well worth a visit.

The busses come every 20-30min. U can download their schedule from site or if you find your way to main office they will give you a map. We took all three routes and that was more than enough over 3 days. Not sure about you specific hotel you may need to look at schedule and google maps to check. The hop on hop off seemed to have 7 routes, just not sure how you would fit it all in over 2 days though, unless you only get off a couple of times...on a route and spend a fair amount of time on the bus. We finally chose Fun Vee because the pachage worked for us...boat, bus and extra tickets.....3 days.....

Haven't tried Hop On City Bus so can't comment on their service. We found FunVee to be fine, reasonable price, S$24 I think, and the service was fine. The queues for FunVee were shorter and purchasing a ticket seemed to be less involved. There have been a number of criticisms of FunVee on Tripadvisor but we found them perfectly adequate.
