Singapore Duck Tour

62 reviews
Explore Singapore on a 1-hour duck tour, known officially as DUCKtours®, which allows you to see city sights by both land and water. On ‘the duck,’ an amphibious military vehicle that was refurbished from World War II, you’ll drive around the city to check out attractions like the Fountain of Wealth and Singapore Flyer. Then hit the water to cruise past landmarks like the Merlion, Singapore’s famous statue that sits where the Singapore River meets Marina Bay. Audio commentary is included.
$26.72 per adult

It’s Christmas so the malls are Santa-like, full of redemptions on spending. Michelle of customer service was unsure about the terms of redemption n supposedly sent WhatsApp messages to check. Instructions per WhatsApp came back fast and furious, which she conveyed one by one eg “let me take down your email”, “we will contact u on Monday” etc However, when I asked to speak with the “authority” giving her the instructions, the phone she claimed to be calling on went DEAD! For twenty minutes!!! The piece of paper she took down on my email, she tore up in front of me!!! Monday came, no call nor email, as suspected. It’s early morning Wednesday now. Stone silence... Raffles City does NOT understand the spirit of Christmas... Raffles City die NOT empower its staff... perhaps then Raffles City needs to teach Michelle how to put on a better act and not tear up it’s customers email in their face !

Raffles also owns a mall complex, Raffles City, which has a huge amount of shops and restaurants and the perfect place to take some retreat from the Singapore humidity.

This is yet another shopping center in a city full of shopping centers. This one is in the middle of the downtown area so it has that vibe, lots of people moving fast. Places to shop and food courts. Nothing special.

A massive complex that includes 2 hotels, office tower, a convention centre and of course a shopping centre. It is located near the Raffles Hotel. The shopping complex is not unlike any other complex in Singapore. You can shop till you drop and then seek out delightful eateries in the food court area to satisfy your thirst and hunger.

There is a big Robinson store with Marks&Spencer there and there are a lot of nice stores on the ground floor like my favourite brand - Shanghai Tang from Hong Kong. But I found that the staff in the stores I visited very not very interested in me as a customer but more interested in talking to eachother. There is an ATM in the basement.
