Neighborhood: Marina Bay
More of a mini city than a neighborhood in the traditional sense, the iconic Marina Bay aims to dazzle and entertain visitors of all kinds. This is the Singapore found in glossy brochures, featuring a world-class hotel, casino, shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions all geared towards pure entertainment. The SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands provides a stunning view of the city, a must-see photo opportunity for visitors and locals alike. The ArtScience Museum always has a top-quality exhibition, and Gardens by the Bay is a fascinating manifestation of the government’s vision of Singapore as a “city in a garden”. Enticing Marina Bay is well worth a visit.

- revolvex b7 contributionsLuxury styleEverything in this place is extremely expensive and opulent. Its own station, Bayfront (Downtown Line), is located there. Few more sights, like Garden by the Bay, Flyers, Esplanade, Fullerton, and others, are reachable from here. Expect to stroll a lot. Well worth a visit even if you have no desire to purchase.Visited September 2023Traveled with familyWritten October 30, 2023
- lucaskohSingapore, Singapore4 contributionsrelaxing placeI am quite pleased with this product! It offers great value for the price and meets my expectations. The packaging was nice, delivery was fast, and customer service was attentive. The only minor issue is that the product could possibly be more durable. Overall, I give this product four stars and would highly recommend it to others!Written February 6, 2024
- Gary SUnited Kingdom89 contributionsFantastic food courtYou must visit the food court here. You can use a credit card. We came here’s couple times and the food was both cheap and fabulous. It’s very popular and busy so finding a free table is the hardest part but it worth the trouble. Great food.Visited February 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten February 24, 2024

It is amazing to walk through, especially for the air conditioning. - Luv_ Rachmaninoff_No2Irvine, California835 contributionsIconic building…Marina Bay Sands shopping mall is located in Singapore’s most iconic building. It’s a beautiful shopping mall with so many extravagant shops which carry exorbitant price tag for most people, unless you’re a “Crazy Rich Asians”. There are so many dining options from Michelin starred to affordable fast food court options such that one should be able to find something that works. It’s a must place to visit if it’s your first time visiting Singapore (or second time like us)Visited June 2024Traveled with familyWritten June 15, 2024
- The Walking CriticPerth, Australia1,085 contributionsGlamorous and enticing big brand retail shops everywhereYou have to love the cleanliness and style of shops in Singapore and the Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands are another great example. When you come from little old Perth in Western Australia, you just realise how small we are....well....in Perth Australia. Here you have very big brand (sometimes more than one outlet of the same brand on different floors. There are no price advantages being in Singapore, so the costs stack up pretty much the same as other capital cities. But the sheer volume of shops and the commercial indulgence everywhere just makes you feel sucked in and part of the frenzy. A great way to escape the heat and humidity from the comfort of the air conditioned mall.Visited September 2023Traveled with familyWritten July 3, 2024
- Bhavna Darira ChesanMumbai, India524 contributionsFavourite mall in Singapore. The best Mall. They had so many stores ans good options. Even the Louis Vuitton chocolate store is open here. They have the best brands. Since im a sands lifestyle member too, it was advantageous to shop here and collect points. Eventually we redeemed the points too. Lots of lovely pop ups as well. Visited during Chinese new year, it was very crowded. Also got to see the drone light dragon show for a few minutes until it started raining heavily. You need to visit 2-3 times to cover everything.Visited February 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten July 10, 2024
- Lenny HAuckland, New Zealand920 contributionsDefinitely worth a walk throughA light filled mall - quite a nice contrast to many of the other malls in Singapore. The food court is excellent. Many good, reasonably-priced restaurants, too. A lot of expensive shops, some mid-range. The boat ride is silly and overpriced.Visited September 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten September 7, 2024
- ClydeTura Beach, Australia82 contributionsAmazing mall to window shop mainly - as many high end expensive stores. Great live theatre - Sands - with Miss Saigon. So many shops. So many well dressed people. Yes, expensive but that’s the focus with so many upmarket stores. So Pho Vietnamese restaurant was a good feed. The Sands Theatre had “Miss Saigon” on. What a magnificent shows. Three hours long. World class performances. We loved it. I am a Vietnam War vet so the show had a lot of significance as it told a human story rather than a war story. Yes, this mall and nearby Gardens in the Bay, the giant Singapore Flyer 175m tall wheel, the Merlion are well with a days visit.Visited September 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten September 22, 2024

This is specifically to the Coach outlet in Shoppes mall. We went to visit the outlet at around 2pm - 3pm today, and there was not much customers in the shop. Firstly upon entering we scanned the Safe Entry, but none of the staff came out to welcome us or check our temperature.
After entering, my friend wanted to make an enquiry about their goods, but the staff were just standing around or sitting at the middle counter, none volunteered their help. We are not fussy customers and we were only there to clarify some stuff thus we approach their staff instead.
But the lady was RUDE and UNHELPFUL. Instead of explaining or being polite, she just stare at us and say NO, which was very rude from an high end outlet such as Coach. For such a luxurious brand, you would expect some explanation or at least use a longer sentence instead of just a single word NO. I believe they should send their staff for some customer service training as anyone could perform better at her job than her.

I was excited to shop at Marina Bay Sands for the first time after looking at their website that offer complimentary car park fee up to $12.50 if spent over $50 in a single receipt.
I thought I will do safe distance and bought an Apple product online with allocated time slot to collect it. I was planning to grab a bite too.
My print out receipt from the shop was rejected because I bought it online. This exception was not written in their list of participants shops.
Do avoid shopping at MBS because of their misinformation and $7.50 per hour rate unless you are happy to donate your cash.

The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands is a must-visit in Singapore. In addition to the casino on the ground floor, there are many boutiques for shopping. If you are hungry, you can go to Rasapura Masters on the ground floor to eat Southeast Asia. Cuisine from various countries. The indoor canal of Marina Bay Sands Shopping Mall is impressive. There are man-made antique sampans inside. Visitors can let the exclusive boatman take you around the mall, which is somewhat similar to the experience of a gondola boat in Venice. teamLab Digital Light Canvas displays a magnificent picture of nature. Visitors can travel in a colorful world full of various animals and plants, and walk around among these lives. Tickets are required to enter, but it is also quite beautiful to take pictures outside. . February 8, 2024 is the Chinese New Year, with dragon decorations.

This is kind of exclusive, top shelf, elite class, high end luxurious shopping mall for the crazy riches. So bargain hunters, discount seekers, flee market type shoppers can only browse. It's good place to hideaway from the sun though if you happen to be here in summer daytime.

If you ever want to buy anything with designer brands or even simple non branded shops, come here to buy on a weekday or Saturday afternoon, in order not to jostle with crowds.
The sales assistants here have a relaxed vibe. I have good experience from Gucci, Chanel, Saint Laurent, Zara ,Cold storage, Din Tai Fung, TWG and so on.

I came here on a Sunday afternoon in early December via Grab. I'd recommend taking the train because it literally stops right in the mall. I think this entire area is a MUST check out if you're ever in Singapore. I didn't even come here to shop, I came here to just take in the beauty.
It reminds me of the hotels in Las Vegas, NV, USA where each hotel has its own self-contained entertainment- shopping, gambling, food, movies, activities, etc. There are gondola boat rides and even one of those swirling water fountains where a ton of water empties from the ceiling every two hours. I caught the 1 PM showing. I can't remember how long it lasts but I would say at least 15-20 mins. I posted up at the Beanstro, where I got lunch and a nice seat to waiting for the fountain show to start. Definitely worth a visit even if you don't plan on doing any shopping.

Another big mall. Nice floor with tenths restaurants and common area where taking a table is a gamble. A river with boat on opposite side and an upside down dome where water is collected and dropped down to the river. Comfortable to take a rest with air conditioning after a walk outside at 30°C and 90% humidity

The Shoppes is perhaps the most scenic luxury shopping mall in all of Singapore. Located in Marina Bay near the gardens, the triple skyscraper with the boat above and the art and science museum, it is a place full of international designer shops and restaurants (for tourists) for all budgets. Like all shopping centers in the city, here too there is fully functional air conditioning.

Yes there is a rooftop restaurant. I believe you access it from the hotel reception area and they use a special lift.
