I had a Singapore Duck tour together with my family early this month. It was perhaps not a good decision as it was least exciting than what we are expecting. A small road and then into the river with a small ride in the river...More

This is a great tour where you ride the bus and visit several Singapore attractions at night. The tour guide was very informative and ran a well scheduled tour (albeit a bit busy and very much to time!) We loved Gardens by the Bay light...More

There are a number of hop-on hop-off bus operators in Singapore, but to our thinking, this is one of the good ones. It is also associated with Singapore Airlines meaning that if you show the boarding pass from your recently arrived flight, you receive a...More

Hello Trippies, Love Singapore but usually go there as a transit (great airport BTW) or for business & tend to stay at Furama Hotels out of habit but please offer better suggestions. This time we are only in transit with our 2 teenage girls in Feb & are staying overnight. Arrive via Singapore Airlines 4pm & depart the next day at 10.40am. 1) Suggestions / itinerary for this short space of time. Not interested in shopping - just want to look around. Swimming Pool recommendations please (5 Replies)
Hi, Booking the trip of my lifetime for feb, all solo. scary stuff. I've got 4 nights in singapore. I can afford to go up to a 5 star hotel and I need some help narrowing things down. Which hotel has the best swimming pool? I love to swim!. My only other criteria is that it needs to be near a MRT station or SIA Hop-on bus stop. Thank you for taking the time to read my post and any recommendations are greatly appreciated. kind regards, swimming nut.

hey bikerchick, Most hotels charge a single supplement fee if you book directly thru' them so I will definitely advise you to book online via some reputable website. 5* hotels with nice pools are : 1) Ritz - has the feel of a country club, a real pool where you can actually swim laps in 2) Shangri La - lush surroundings 3) Four Seasons - two pools, rooftop has the extra pool :) 4) Goodwood Park - two pools as well, very very lush garden around the pools, very quiet and serene 5) Oriental -...More

Does anyone know the 2016 SSH deal includes the SIA hop on off bus? I know it did when I booked (in March this year) and before that, but the website says both yes and no. Complimentary admission to attractions is only valid for the duration of the Singapore Stopover Holiday." But also: "On the way to your destination, experience the sights and sounds of...More

Check precisely which page you are on as well. There are two formats for the SSH, one with just hotel and one with hotel plus extras. It would not surprise me if the HOHO bus varied between those formats and the two quotes come from pages in two separate lines of the SSH
