The range of Japanese source food in basement of Isetan is impressive including Japanese grown fruits like grapes n watermelons that costs 50 x local Imported fruits . It's an eye opener you can 'cheap eats' at the food sect hi including ramen, etc n sushi and bento boxes.

At Isetan, Shaw House one could shop, catch a movie or indulge in its food court at the basement. The building is linked to several buildings easement at the basement. The food court is well spaced out and offers iced fruit juices, noodles fish soup, chinese soup, japanese items and also Vietnamese. While it's busy you can still get a... More

There's a Japanese products fair, which I happened to visit last year as well. This year it runs from mid or end February to mid-March. I came visiting without knowing-- I just wanted that Japanese seafood snacks I ate last year and turns out there it is. Last year I visited Singapore mid-February. Last year the seafood snacks were fried,... More

Staying at the Marriott Tang Plaza in Singapore, Isetan is a stone's throw away. Shopping here is pure pleasure, from the solicitous sales staff to the non-western labels. Mainstream designers and stores abound in Singapore but I was looking for something you don't see on every corner in the United States and Europe. Isetan is a Japanese department store with... More

During sales have picked up designer bags at a very good price. Being a Japanese store I particularly enjoy browsing the homewares department and buying the latest kitchen gadget.

Usually not crowded unless you happened to be there during their private sales which happens every quarter. You can drop by their level 3 promotion area to see if there are any brands that you like having discount.
