Neighborhood: Marina Bay
More of a mini city than a neighborhood in the traditional sense, the iconic Marina Bay aims to dazzle and entertain visitors of all kinds. This is the Singapore found in glossy brochures, featuring a world-class hotel, casino, shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions all geared towards pure entertainment. The SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands provides a stunning view of the city, a must-see photo opportunity for visitors and locals alike. The ArtScience Museum always has a top-quality exhibition, and Gardens by the Bay is a fascinating manifestation of the government’s vision of Singapore as a “city in a garden”. Enticing Marina Bay is well worth a visit.

Stunning views. Pick a clear day.
The Skypark Observation Deck is located in the Marina Bay Sands Resort. Reach it by the Bayfront MRT station. The hotel has 3 towers. The Observation deck is in tower 3. Ticket prices are 26S$ and 22S$ for seniors. You will experience fabulous views of the Singapore skyline, the Gardens by the Bay gardens, and attractions and, if clear weather, great long-range views. If visiting at night, check for details as you must enter at specific times as there is crowd control due to the popularity of the light and laser show. Other than stairs to an upper deck, it is wheelchair accessible. I will try to post a video.

    Crowded but great views
The queues do go quickly for the elevators but there are many people in the evening. We were delayed because of lightning but the later time gave us great views of the city at night. Another spot where you could easily spend time to enjoy the evening.

    Great Views Of The City
Bit of queuing that can be avoided by booking online for an early time slot (Eg, when it opens). Will close if the weather is inclement so check the forecast. Great way to see the whole of the city from one viewpoint and the ships out in the bay

    A must do once
A visit is worthwhile for good views from 56 floors up. The lift is speedy, you hardly feel it move. They do not over pack the lift which is great after entering from the heat of Singapore. We just took in the views but there is a cafe/bar for refreshments. You only gain ask to one end of the terrace as the there'd is exclusively for clients staying within the hotel.

    Fantastic views
Another must visit spot in Singapore. Fabulous views across Singapore. Great spot to take photos. Can be very hot and no shelter so would recommend taking a hat or umbrella for shade.

    Tacky but fabulous
Only went as an evening visitor to the Skydeck (you need advance tickets to do this) as part of an organised tour, so not as a resident. It's a loaded experience - photos as you go in, the high speed lift, the drink-token for a beer or a frozen slushie Singapore Sling. All a bit tacky. But the experience up on the 54th floor, out in the open, with 360 degree views over Singapore, watching the night fall and the lights come on is really something. Fabulous photos, fabulous experience. It's such an iconic building. Well recommended.

    Best view in Singapore
You can see the Mariner Bay Sands Observation Deck from most places in Singapore and so it is an absolute must to go up there and drink in the views. There is limited capacity each day so I would advise to book up in advance to avoid disappointment. We went shortly before sunset to watch the sun set over Singapore and see the lights of the city come on. The views are stunning and it was worth every penny of the entrance fee. You can also get a great view of the light show at the Gardens by the Bay which happens twice a night. Don't miss out on this experience.

    Unimaginable Singapore
Yes, this place makes you speechless. It shows you the complete Bay area in 360 degree circle. This is main area of Singapore with all sky scapers around to make it look more beautiful. Finance hub, Merlin, Garden by the bay, Formula race area etc all can be seen from here. I would suggest you to vidit this place post 5. this will avoid the heat & also give you beautiful light view. Tickets can be bought as on combo with Garden by the Bay. Klook is a good option to buy tickets. It's located in Tower 3. Thus post this u need to head to Tower 2 to go to the Garden by the bay or vice versa.

    Awesome views
I definitely thought it was worth the time and money to go to the top deck and get a stunning view of Singapore. It was a beautiful day when we went up and the views and pictures we took came out awesome. It gave us a great perspective of the cutie and where everything was from above. We also enjoyed frozen Singapore Slings at the top while we enjoyed the view.

So we went there as Singapore trip is not complete without it .. but trust me it can be..

It was so crowded there was no space and as seen everywhere in Singapore there was no planning or crowd management. They were giving tickets to any number of people creating a fish market and as per review and research it's the case most of times.

Would suggest to book a table at CAfe la ve, you don't have to take the entry ticket of 32 SGD and can actually eat/drink something for that money.

Also such a waste of paper with printing everyone's pic and trying to sell it with no luck, obviously MBS will throw all the pics which were not sold. Again a very bad practice seen all over singapore.

Really bad practice from a country/orgs preaching so much about environment at every step.

Marina sands bay sky park observation desk experience is awesome. i will tell you genuine experience,
tickets you may buy from basement of the hotel or from Klook app., reach there around 5pm and enjoy sunset as well as night view it was so satisfying. here i will recommend if you had experienced already burj khalifa or any other high rise attractions then you can skip this. carry enough water with you bcz at that hight you will not get free water it will cost INR 400 rs. FOR 700 ml water bottle. disappointing for photography lovers is no tripods allow, camera allowed only no extra charge for camera. once you go up there then no tile limit for exit so enjoy fully and if you are hurry for next attractions then its your choice bcz down at garden by the bay there is night sound and light show.

About 20 Singapore dollars to visit. Exceptional staff to guide you through and up to the top. Had to have temperature checks on arrival, but that's standard in most places now what with Coronavirus. Its up on 56th floor, the lift was fun! At the top we aimed to get there for sunset as then we got the views followed by the night scene with all the pretty lights. Two sides: city view and garden view (gardens by the bay view) you could see the gardens by the bay light show from up top which was amazing! Unfortunately there was some works being done so we couldnt get to the tip of the "boat". Luckily it was very empty ?Coronavirus caused it but we were grateful. We were then shown up to level 57 where we had a drink in the bar, but we had mixed messages as to this, someone said that was for an extra ticket holder so we dont know whether the lift guy got us confused with someone else. We had a nice (but pricey) cocktail up here and as its international womens day all women got a yummy shot! Go ladies!!

Coming from Melbourne Australia where we have the Eureka Sky Deck the Marina Bay Sands Observation Deck was a let down. Yes you see the beautiful city but in comparison it wasn’t really worth the time and money spent. It’s quite pricey to get up there and once you are up it was super crowded. I would however recommend this to people who are visiting from a country where there is no viewing deck.

Recently visited the Skypark as one of the things you have to do while in Singapore. We visited in the early evening, just before it got dark. Admission on the ground level of MBS was very easy, and the lift to the top only took a couple of minutes. When we reached the top, that's where it all started to unravel. The skypark was rammed, with only a limited amount of tables and chairs, which meant us loitering aroung already seated people ready to pounce if anyone left. We eventually claimed a spot, but the view was nothing more than average, which was really the case wherever you sat.
The cost of admission is 26$, for which you also get a voucher for 26$ to spend at the bar. Bargain we thought until you see the bar menu. Prices, even for a beer, use up most of the 26$, but it still seems a better deal then paying 23$ for the observation deck alone. The disappointment was really the view. You are confined to a small area which doesn't give a good view of either the marina nor Gardens by the Bay.
After paying an exoberant 25$ for a second beer, we left very disappointed.

The view from the observation deck is magnificent, however the Sands hotel takes full advantage of thier location.
1. Entry fee is very expensive $$25 - $$30 per person, for riding up an overcrowded elevator to the 57th floor of the building.
2. The high fee does not allow the visitors access to the entire roof, with it's tropical gardend, restaurants, and bars. Only to a small, overcrowded, area of that roof area.
3. Too many people are crowding the side of the building, hardly allowing for one to get close to the edge to take photoes.

Major disapointment. I'd recomend to stay away from this attraction despite the beautiful views it offers.

In simple terms there is nothing there except a view.
There is no real refreshment stalls and one tacky souvenir shop.

There is NO access to the swimming pool, which is actually what the MBS is famous for, it is only for hotel guests, even hotel guests visitors can not access it.

Save your money and go on the Singapore Flyer (wheel) which is nearby. You will get a much better view of the city, albeit another $10 or $15 more.

So do not waste your money at the Skypark.

Incidentally, we live in Singapore and have stayed at the hotel, the pool is not all it is cracked up to be anyway, my wife has also visited the skypark and said it was a waste of money.
We take all visitors on the Flyer, this is the best way to get a view of Singapore and pick out places of interest to visit later.
Thank you.

There is a choice to make. For access to the observation deck you pay the $26 each or wave your SingaporeAir boarding passes and get 15% off each ticket. This entitles you to access to a large open deck on the 56th floor. Alternatively you can buy a pass at the ground floor for the ce la vi restaurant which entitles you to access the 57th floor restaurant and a wider, possibly more comfortable experience. This does not open till midday so we opted to go just for the observation deck. Despite some criticisms on this forum we found the view excellent, there were no queues when we arrived at 11 am and we had as much of a panorama as we wished for with views over the city, harbour, bay gardens and out to sea. Sure there were no seats or shade but there are toilets and access to drinks available to buy. You can see the infinity pool in the distance but not close up. We may have been lucky with the weather and the sparse numbers of visitors but we felt it was a well worthwhile experience.

Although a little on the expensive side this place really is worth visiting. The views from it are amazing! If you ASK there is another floor you can access (via the lift) When you get to the top you exit the lift and turn left. When you get outside everyone turns right. If you look LEFT there is a narrow passageway, that gives access to another area where there is a bar and seating. You also get a view of the infinity pool. Don’t get too excited, you can only use the pool if you are staying in the hotel. (it’s not obvious so not many find it. Turn RIGHT and you get to another bar area with seating and awesome views. Just sit down BEFORE you look at the bars price list. But because of where you are you simply must have a Singapore Sling to sip whilst soaking up the view. Once you have visited the bar you cannot reypturn to the observation deck, it’s the ground floor only. The entrance fee includes five photographs and a video (download the next day) Clever system, they take your picture as you go in and you are then superimposed on five different photographs of the building.

A very cheap way (vs paying to stay at Marina Bay Sands Hotel) of experiencing incredible views over Singapore and appreciating what an architectural achievement this building is.

Best time to arrive is 30minutes before sunset as light changes so you can enjoy both light/dark views but be prepared for a queue downstairs at that time even if you have prebooked tickets. We went on a Saturday and wait was just 15minutes.

Highly recommended.
