Pleasant Saturday afternoon

Worth doing the trip out and sampling the range of beers in offer. The tasting room is actually a nice pub with lots enjoying themselves.

We just completed this tour it was pretty cool but you don't get to see a lot of the actual factory and the processes in 'real life' it was more presentation based. You start off with a video intro then go into some areas of courtyard and a brief look at the vats in the factory. After this its onto... More

Typical tour of a brewery. See the beer making process and how the brewery got its start. Best part is the end, which everyone goes on a beer tour for, the samples. One glass of Tiger, samples from six others and then another glass of Tiger or Heineken.

I did not realise how far away from the city (close to the Malaysian boder) this was until you I got an mrt train to 'Joo Koon' and then the 182 bus. If getting the 182 bus make sure you keep an eye out for the Coca Cola factory as the brewery is the stop after this. When you enter... More

Extremely rude girl met us. No smile or welcome, and we were expected to know what to do, We felt like an Inconvince for her, as it was later in the day, her broken English was very difficult to understand. And I actually asked her to be nice and to smile! She turned out to be our guide!! Then the... More

On arrival we were left waiting for around ten minutes without any greeting or anything. We were then given a 'token' and asked to proceed to the visitors area - which meant a tiny excuse for a shop and a multi screen TV. The guide then pressed play on the TV - took some skill I imagine! We then walked... More

I toured the brewery on 8th april and was most impressed. I would have loved to have seen more of the processing site instead of the video, but as the plant is fully automated(nearly) I guess they just can't let anyone wander around. The beer tasting at the end was most enjoyable and the bar is really well laid out... More

I have a hard time locating the place since it was far from the city proper. Once there, there was no plenty staff unlike in other attraction or place I have been to. I could hardly understand some of the words the tour plant was trying to say but I managed to ask questions along the way. It is a... More

We could hardly understand anything our female guide was saying because of the incorrect pronounciation. Of all the production processes we have seen the fermenting large brewery vessels for half a minute and had to leave again, the rest was only audio-visual presentation, that we could have checked in the internet within 5 minutes. Complete waste of time and money.

Having done most of the main attractions in Singapore on other visits, we thought we would go and do this tour. We decided to take public transport, which made it all the more interesting...(just make sure you catch the MRT all the way to Joo Koon not to Boon Lay as is recommended) and then take the 182/182M bus.... The... More
