We used the Bintan Resort Ferries for a few days in Indonesia. The Tanah Mera ferry terminal is small with a few shops and food outlets. The duty free is mostly alcohol and is a good place to pick up a cheap bottle on your way back into Singapore. The choice of food is limited and be warned, caters more... More

Just got back from Bintan after using these. We booked online for Singapore to Bintan which cost £40gbp return (80sgd) each which is a little more than some days. The port is at tangah merrah ferry terminal near changi. It's accessible by bus but taxi is cheap from all over Singapore anyway. Use taxi apps or flag down. We were... More

We decided to travel Emerald Class; it was excellent😀! The ferry company looked after us both on the crossing to Bintan Island and on the return journey; no complaints at all! The only problem on arriving back at the terminal in Singapore is the transport arrangements. We wanted to go to Changi Airport which is short distance from the ferry... More

We travelled in both classes, going to Bintan by economy and returning by emerald class. Emerald class was little bit expensive, SGD 22 more. However it provides hassle free immigration processing at Bintan. You can access vip lounge with free Wi-Fi, free coffee /tea, also priority at the exit than the economy class. The economy class was not bad either... More

Took ferry from Tanahn Merah terminal to Bintan. Didnt took the Emerald class, normal economy class is comfortable and cabin looks pretty good. Efficient on time both ways, anyways its a short 55 min journey. Very good

Excellent cheap mode of getaway! There is no added advantage of going by the Emerald class of these ferries. The economy class is quite comfortable for an hours journey.

Its the easiest way to get to bintan from singapore. Ticket is not that expensive and its quite hassel free. However be prepared to receive the least amount of service.

Checking in / picking tickets up was simple enough although very noisy !! There was a triathlon on so that added to the numbers being handled at the terminal The boat boarding was good and given only an hour , more than comfortable enough Small food choice onboard but it is only just over an hour All in all -...
