According to local tradition, this is the burial place of Sultan Iskandar Syah, the last of the five kings of SIngapore. There is a tomb (I’m guessing it’s more of a cenotaph) to mark the grave of Sultan Iskandar Syah. I couldn’t help but admire the devotion and respect the Malay still accord this place and keep it in such good condition. I wouldn’t go out of the way to visit this unless you’re going to Fort Canning Park though.

Keramat means shrine. This ancient "Malay Royal King” tomb is made of black ceramic material with a top and bottom row of light-coloured small square tiles. A crescent and star are inlaid in the middle, just like Malaysia's Terengganu's flag. Some believed Sultan Iskandar Syah is the last of five kings to rule Singapore in the 14th century.
Some scholars believe that Parameswara and Iskandar Shah were two names used by the same person, who is the founder of the Sultanate of Malacca! Wow, amazing huh?
