This hill stands at 74 metres, and offers a good vantage point of what used to be a quarry. On a clear morning, you can see the northeastern part of Singapore and parts of Johore.
To reach the entrance to the hill, it takes about 7-10 minutes of cycling from the main village. Suggest to loan a bicycle lock as there are facilities to park the bicycle at the base of the hill, beside the Merbah Hut. Note that there are plenty of mosquitoes at the hut area, so its advisable not to stay there for long or to apply good amounts of insect repellent.
The hill offers two vantage points. The first is near the halfway mark of the climb. But of course, the top of the hill offers a better view of the surroundings (and there are no mosquitoes there!). There are barriers located at both vantage points for hikers' safety, so one unfortunately cannot go to the edge of the hill to take photos. The climb itself is not difficult even though the gradient can be steep and the paths are rocky. The trek can be completed in 10 minutes without stopping. Be extra careful if it has rained prior to the climb as the trek can be more slippery. It's definitely advisable to wear good track shoes.
A must visit for those who desire to do some trekking on Pulau Ubin.

after a full day at Ubin one gets so tired but this trek is easy. We took the bikes to the bottom of the hill and it's only 5-10 minute hike up. See the view etc. Happy we Went
