I was a bit disappointed when Serena Williams decided at the very last minute to pull out. But I had a look at the list of players qualified for the event and they were just the Top 8 players of the year excluding Serena.
This event is really the peak of their season and I have seen amazing tennis games. Really enjoyed it and now that I have settled in Singapore I'm looking forward to go back there for 2017 event hoping for Mladenovic to qualify!

i went there to watch WTA Finals. I got seats behind the baseline and it was perfect view to watch tennis. The place itself is clean, comfortable seats-little space for legroom, and the air conditioner worked perfecty it's so cold.. The snacks sold inside was way overpriced, so I went to the nearby convenience store besides the mall (yes there's a mall besides the stadium). It's easy to reach just use MRT along Circle Line and disembark at STADIUM station (CC6).

Caught the WTA finals in Oct'14 as well as the OUE Singapore open in April'15. Very good experience; both times. Entry is really well managed. They don't allow super big lenses so ensure you don't lug your SLR packs. Seats are fanatically organized. The only reason I'd give it a 4 instead of a 5 was that there weren't too many munching options.

What a joke… the WTA really ripped off the fans that support the your year round… The first night in Mexico saw about 20% stadium capacity. If this would have been held in the states, in say Miami, it would have been sold out. What a crappy venue. Dead crowd for the top 8 women in the world. Embarrassing!,,, You really ripped off the fans and the competitors…

This event is the reason why Im in SG every oct since 2014. don't get seats near the players. I did that my first year and I didn't get to see the whole court as the rows are too close together. Get seats near the middle or near the entrance to enjoy the game and see the brilliance in shot making. just go to the practice courts to see the stars up close. Also visit all the booths in the fun zone, they give freebies

If you have never see tennis played live (quality tennis, not your sunday bunch), then this is your best opportunity. Although this is not a Grand Slam, you will still get some of the best tennis players in the world gathering at one hot spot to compete for good money.
Women's tennis always gets second best in the world of sports, or at least tennis in this case.
Then men play longer and hence get paid more.
But if you see the WTA games live, you will understand that the women also play equally as hard, even though they are only battling for 3 sets.
The running, service, return, ball skills, even entertainment as the Legends pull of some jokes once in a while.
This is an experience you must go for, at least once in your lifetime.
If the sport don't entice, then the lovely women of tennis surely must have some pulling power to get your interest.
Watch them also in training sessions.

Was there to catch the WTA Finals. A very nice venue with comfortable seats. The temperature was very cooling, washrooms were clean. Very convenient and easy to reach by using the MRT, stop at Stadium station.

The official event website has single session tickets for a specific day/time but i couldn't find a schedule listing who is playing on what day/time. How should I go about booking if I want to see someone specific play? Thanks!
