This festival covers a bigger area from Marina Bay towards Singapore river. Other than light effect, it also has the sound effect.

Every time we go to Singapore there is something happening and this time was no exception. The 2016 I Light display was on around the Marina Bay area. The light displays were done by different countries and all had a meaning or thought behind them. We had a great time walking right around the Marina Bay area looking at all the displays.
Then there is still the Wonder Full Light & Water Show twice a night and all of this is FREE.
Outside the front of the Marina Bay Shoppes is a pop up Pasarbella Restaurant set up for the I Light Festival.
The south car park is a fair ground with rides and games for the whole family to enjoy.
The entry to this is free but the games and rides start from $5SG.
If it is to late for you this year try to book your holiday in Singapore for the festival next year.

Totally different displays to last year but i didn't think it was as good as last year.
We did go in the last week and some things were now not working properly but it just didn't appeal to us as much this time.
The one stand out improvement this year was the Merlion.
The laser show on it from 360deg was great.
Cant complained it is Free.

ILight 2016 was excellent.
Then 2017 was good but we did go in the last week and a few display's had stopped working .
This year we went in the first week but the main idea has gone.
The ILight festival of different lighting ideas from around the world has turned into more about food and kids rides.
We didnt even bother to take photos this year.
Bring back the colour of lights and lighting and get rid of the expencive play ground with overprices food.

This iLight is from 9 March to 1 April with 22 installations. The whole of Marina Bay is crowded with many other activities coincide with iLight, such as Artl-Zoo for the kids; illumiBar for visitor take a rest & a bit; Marina Bay carnival.
Depending how you reach Marina Bay, once reach the location, you just need to go one round the Marina Bay to enjoy the iLight installations and other activities. This year installations are not as good as last year except on the Merlion lighting display which is comparable with last year.

The 20 displays are placed at different locations around marina bay. The most displays are near marina bay sand.

Fantastic show, well worth a visit. Free entrance if staying in Marina Bay Sands Hotel. Show nightly, check for times locally. Music from 70s and 80s to accompany lights, which was brilliant.

It really is amazing what you can do with lights, water and buildings. The festival is really lovely and certainly worth a stop off. Along the whole bay there are different installations that are interactive and worth seeing as well.

Interesting collection of art lit in the theme of light, spread across the whole bay walk, it adds to an already cool location, great atmosphere, with good food and drink all around also.

Ignore the idiot who reviewed the Hotel light show and missed the whole Bay I-lights thing

Just visited the 2017 I light along Marina Bay all the way to Esplanade. The display are pretty interesting and there's also a Art Zoo the the float at Marina Bay. Will need to pay entrance fee for Art Zoo though.
