I specifically went to Sentosa Island to check out the Aquarium. Entry to the Aquarium plus Sentosa Express ticket were quite pricey, so God help any families travelling there mob deep. The Resorts World experience is aimed at both adults and kids alike, with Universal Studios, Aquarium, Sentosa Beach offered for guests to enjoy. I went on an incredibly hot day, so would advise going after 3pm when the sun is less strong.

we were here 12 years ago , many of the new attractions are new and were not even envisaged 12 years ago , so it was a pleasant sight to behold how the island has changed in a decade , yes there are continual renovations going on , hove we found the island to be looking old , dreary , tired , unkept , lacking in the WOW effect ,
Such a place requires a huge team of gardeners ,painters , technical crews , to keep it in top former all to enjoy .
many attraction , hotel closed , maybe it was out of season ?
building site around the Meriloin . the beaches were not over full on Saturday morning / afternoon , what we did not appreciate were some of the prices for rides , cable car etc , extremely expensive and we noticed that many cars were empty .
The island is a main attraction for those seeking a getaway from the city , prices should be reflective of those who chose to visit .

I really enjoyed this place. Has lots of stuff you can do. As usual everything is expensive. The show they have at night is just too AMAZING. I went for Wings of Time and it's something spectacular to see. You have to visit this place

There are a few Halal Restaurants. The air-conditioned Surau(prayer room) is just beside Eygpt. You can take wudu inside and separate rooms for ladies and gentlemen.
It is so compact that you will be able to get on all the rides in a day. The queue is everywhere if you go during peak period.

We stayed at Resort Wold Sentosa Equarius Hotel in May this year and the Hotel was very nice but had one fault.
We found that every time we went out the first step was to get to either the Hard Rock Hotel for quick access to the north end of the Forum like S.E.A World or go to the Michael Hotel for places at the south end like Universal Studio or the Monorail.
The resort has a free shuttle bus to get you around here.
We have already booked to go back in September this year and we are staying at the Hard Rock Hotel this time but we are taking our daughter for her first time.
We have travelled to Bali a lot with our teenage daughter but we wont let her out of sight but staying here she can go places on her own as it is very safe.
If you stay at a Resort World Hotel you will receive a free Monorail pass and can get some discounts for Resort World Attractions.
There is so much to do here it will take a week of fun just to do most of it.

Sentosa was good and we enjoyed there but it do not have public drinking water facility, every time you need to buy water at 3-4 SGD. it should have public drinking water facility although Universal studio provide public drinking water.

Resort World has several attractions, shows, shopping experiences and a range of culinary delights throughout.
An overview and some of the more popular places to visit include, the Sea Aquarium, Universal Studios, the Casino and Dolphin Island.
Some of the free shows include the nightly crane dance and the less impressive, lake of dreams.
Numerous restaurants and cafes are available for a huge selection and diversity of meals styles within the Bull ring, the Forum, Malaysian Food Street and along the waterfront.
It is easy to spend several days with all the options offered here.

Sentosa Island is the place where you have the Universal Studios and other attractions like Aquarium, Luge ride , 4D adventurland, Madam Tussad’s and wings of time . Universal Studio needs an entire day on its own and we had decided to all the other attractions today other than Universal studio. I had paper tickets for Aquarium , Luge ride , 4D advetureland . We took the MRT to Harbor Front station and Vivo city mall. From the Harbor front station there are 4 different ways to go to Sentosa Island . first is through Cable Car . this offers a picturesque ride into the island in a cable car. There is I think a charge of $10 - $15 for this . Second one is to use the Monorails which departs from Top floor of the Vivo city mall. It costs $4 . The third option is to use a bus (RWS – 8 ) to go into the island . This costs $1. It starts from outside the Vivo City mall. Fourth is to walk by crossing the bridge. This also gives a chance to click a lot of photos. This is free of charge and you can just walk into the island. While coming back the monorail and bus are free of charge. By the time we got the Harbor front station it was late around 11 am so instead of cable car or walking we took the bus into the island. First we went into the Aquarium. It is good . If you have been to any aquarium in US it is sort of similar and does not have anything different. If you are visiting first time then it is a really good place to visit. Kids will enjoy it. It takes around 2-3 hours for aquarium . after that we had pizza for lunch.(There is also a subway but it is near madam Tussad’s and little bit far off from aquarium ) . Then we took the monorail from Aquarium and went o last station for the Luge ride (Monorail is free once you are inside the island to go from station to station ). Luge ride is fun But I think doing once is enough. I had tickets for 2 rides but you can save some money and time and do it only 1 time. They just try to entice you will different pricing strategy for 2 rides. You can buy tickets at each of these places individually if you did not buy the paper tickets so do not worry. Actually when I think of it the counter tickets were cheaper for a family option then individual paper tickets . after the ride 2 times we went to the beach in front of it and spent some time there. Singapore’s sea does not have waves so it is not exciting as other beaches . After half an hour we decided to go to 4D adventureland which is next to Madam Tussad’s . I had brought ticket only to one show which is more than enough. It was a jungle movie which has Actor Rock in it. That was a good ride. I skipped Madam Tussad’s since we had seen it before in some other city . In general Sentosa island (other than Universal studio ) has a must see aquarium and then a lot of small things which are optional. You can pick and choose which you want to do according to your liking and even if you skip them after aquarium visit you will not miss much.

This attraction is not friendly to people with a disability such as a walking stick, walker, or a wheelchair. There are no lifts provided in some areas, only steps or the occasional escalator. Many couples with a child in a pram meant they had to split up so one of them could go to an attraction by themselves. We had a very disappointing day because my wife has severe arthritis in her feet which prevented her from seeing a lot of attractions. Not happy

What is the check-in and check-out time for Hotel Michael? Same for all hotels on Sentosa Island?
Do U know if the combo of 3D/2N hotel and attractions include Universal Studios?
Thank you in advance for your answers.

3D 2N doesn’t include entry to Universal,
we stayed at festive and paid for a late check out, and as our flight was early morning we were able to leave our luggage at hotel and explore resort world, the festive did let us enter room at around midday which was awesome,

We are planning to use the Cable Car to reach Sentosa Island. Which station to disembark at to reach the Resorts World?
Also, do we need to use both the lines for resorts world?

Hello,
we're a family with 3 children, for how long should we stay in universal studios., and are there any more family attractions (free beaches - light shows- etc) in the resort?

We are a family of 2 adults and 3 children aged from 6 - 11. Wondering if it is realistic/possible to visit Universal World Studios and Adventure Cove Waterpark on Sentosa Island in the one day? Would this be too much for the younger ones?

Hello,
This is Mrittika from India. Am visiting Singapore-Sentosa from 23-Feb'15 till 1-Mar'15 for vacation along with my parents. Would like to know about the entry fee per adult for this destination.
Also, how do I get there using public transportation from Siloso Beach Resort (Sentosa)?
Thanks.
