We travelled to Sentosa Monday 11th July via the Mt Faber cable car. This turned out to be a public holiday in Singapore so there were quite a few people on the island. Exiting at the Sentosa Station, the Skyline Luge was located just outside the cable car gift shop. We learned that slots needed to be booked in advance so had about 90 minutes before our scheduled rides. We chose to jump on the Sentosa cable car and visit the beach area adjacent Siloso Station.
Returning later, we chose the 2 ride base option, unsure if we would leave enough time for other island experiences if we stayed longer.
The fee was around $28 pp for two rides (from memory - refer website), which included two luge rides and two return chair lift rides. Upon payment, riders proceed down a walkway where they grab a helmet (approximately 5 sizes fitting even the biggest of melons - I know!) and then queue for the first run. I note others have made mention of the cleanliness (or lack thereof) of the helmets and I'd have to agree. With the hot, humid days in Singapore, it didn't look like there was any sanitizing going on.
There were four tracks listed on the board, but at least one was closed for maintenance (short of attempting a 'Speed' jumping the gap). I had decided to tackle what appeared to be the fastest run, but only ever recall seeing one turnoff. Perhaps other junction points are further down the run I didn't take.
Decent speeds can be achieved on the runs and I found it to be pretty darn fun. Yes some people choose the wrong course and you have to keep an eye out for stranded riders in the middle of the course when rounding blind corners. Nothing particularly hazardous mind you.
There is a bit of a queue to catch the chair lift back up but the queues move pretty quick and the fact you are meant to book slots suggest they manage the queues to suit. They say it takes anywhere from 15 minutes to 30 mins depending on crowds. This seems to be fair based on our experience. We probably could have gone a third run but were somewhat short on time.
Skyline Luge is a fun experience for all ages (we had young children and grand parents in our extended party) and in my opinion represents good value for money.
Though one track was closed for upgrades and the helmets were a bit questionable for hygiene, I choose not to let this detract from my overall rating. I would recommend this experience to anyone visiting Sentosa for the first time.

This is an enjoyable luge track with the choice of four different courses. When you purchase your ticket you can purchase between two and four trips. It can be a bit crowded which can make the ride slow going. We did the Kupa Kupa trail and also the expedition trail which we found more interesting with more twists and turns. The trip back to the top station is via a chairlift and offers lovely views.

The night luge officially starts at 7pm (through to 9.30pm) on Friday and Saturday.
You can book for 7pm but get there a little earlier before the masses arrive.
As you take the Skyride up the hill, you can look back over your shoulder and get great sunset scenes. The Luge itself is somewhat enchanting in the dark... with lots of different light displays to appreciate as you whizz down (all too quickly)... In fact, that's our only complaint.. the Luge rides seem to take only 1 minute or so. Like most theme park rides they are short while the wait is long!
However, the Skyride adds to the attraction (takes about 5 minutes) and even in the Christmas holidays, we found that one round trip took no more than 1/2 an hour.
We chose the 4-ride combo (the best value) and that translated to 2 hours of fun.
There are now 4 Luge "trails" although sometimes you get instructed to go down certain paths (because of crowd management).
If you finish your 4-ride combo in good time, you can book an extra Skyride-Luge ride at $5... well worth it for one last whizz!

The Skyline Luge Sentosa is in serious need of social distancing ambassadors!
We visited in December 2020 and the wait time for each of the four paid rides was 1+ hours. Although the social distancing tape was placed on the ground, people completely ignored it, and staff seemed to not care at all. We were very concerned about the lack of social distancing while waiting on the line. We actually asked one staff member to mention social distancing to the group of people waiting behind us because they were standing less than 1 meter away. The staff member shrugged her shoulders and did nothing. I’m shocked this place is allowed to continue to operate with such lax enforcement of Singapore COVID regulations.
The compounding issue is that this attraction is a case study of inefficient throughput. They place bottlenecks in senseless places, which makes the lines move even slower. Once everyone gets onto their luge, why would you have them start, then make 4 lanes of riders gather up again single file just to have their hand stamped??? Put the hand stamper in the area where people are standing around for an hour waiting to board and eliminate that bottleneck completely. Five minutes of observation shows the points where riders board their luge until they hit the track is the major bottleneck. The staff seemed inexperienced, clueless, and apathetic. Not what I expected for a Singapore theme park. Universal enforces COVID protocols much stricter. I’ll stick to Universal until COVID is over. The luge ride itself is really fun, but not worth four hours of waiting for four rides down the hill. So much potential, execution is a total fail.

Hi, i have been thinking on whether i should post this or not. I went to Sentosa Island with two of my friends and luge WAS one of the activities i anticipated the most upon my visit to SG. i went there first time with my family in 2017.
On 19/8/22 my friends and i went to the counter to purchase tickets for Luge, an employee there was extremely rude ; we were not aware that Luge was close until 5pm and was asked to come again (in a very disrepectful tone and attitude). We were just about to pay for the ticket but the employee threw the ticket at us and asked us to come again to pay when Luge is open again. From that moment on, i do not think i'll ever go to Luge again.
I understood that Luge is open at 5pm (only after being informed by the employee), however i believe there is a nicer way to speak to customers. Even if the employee is tired, they still are obligated treat people kindly and mind their tone. I am not sure if the employee had a personal issue going on at that time but despite all problems, the employee should have maintained his/her composure + professionalism (*capable to separate personal matter from work*).
Correct me if im wrong on Luge's actual Operating Hours.
I hope for that particular employee to receive proper training so in the future he/she can improve to provide good customer service and so other customers won't have to go through what my friends and i had experience there. If i was asked to rate my experience in 2017, i would definitely give a 10 but as of 2022, i don't think i can give any.
Enough of Luge.
I was beyond satisfied with the employees at the Extreme Log Ride. They were very informative, kind (no attitude problem) eventhough we asked questions ( i think as customers we have the right to enquire, don't we?), they were very patient. Overall, extreme log ride was pleasant and i have nothing to complain.
Thank you.

We booked our tickets via Klook and saved a few dollars of each ticket (2 adults and 2 children - 11 and 8). It was very easy to show our ticket barcodes and take the chairlift up the hill. I also had an issue where I had a typo in my email so didn’t receive the tickets and after emailing the help desk they forwarded to my correct address in a short period of time. We picked the off peak tickets (11am to 2 pm) and it wasn’t too busy at 11 am.
I read other reviews who said to purchase the 4 x luge tickets and they were right. Each ride wasn’t very long…maybe 1-2 minutes each and it leaves you wanting to hop straight back on again.
The are several cameras on each course (4 courses) so if you manage to smile for them you will hopefully get some good pics to purchase at quite reasonable prices.

This is our second time there and it is still as much fun as ever. We went down with our youngest and she enjoyed it very much. Suggest to do no more than 3 rides as one of the trials (dragon trial) is closed for repair. Suggest to buy tickets online when you are near there so that you don’t have to face rain / thunder for closure & disappointment. The staffs throughout the experience were friendly and very nice.

Had a fun afternoon here- chose the package which came with 4 rides and had just as much fun riding the chair lift to the start of the tracks as luging on it. There are 4 different tracks to choose from and everything feels very safe. The Dragon one is the most advanced.

Tried this for the first time with family of 1 teenager and 10 yo. Absolutely enjoyed the rides (bought tickets for 4 luge and skyline rides).
The blue trail is highly recommended if you don’t have young children.
Suggest an early start as the crowd starts to come in after 1pm and waiting time could be ~30mins at least.

Went to this place for a birthday trip during 2020 July, it was a very exciting and fun experience for us, both on the ride up and the luge ride, but I can't help but think the staff there (just one staff actually) is a bit rude and racist.
We went to the place at night (I think it was an hour before it closes?), and we had our first ride down. Then when we went to take the second ride up, the staff asked us "where did you get your ticket?"
I wasn't sure why she needed to ask the question but I answered anyway and told her "I bought it online".
And then she asked again if we bought it at the top or bottom, I was very confused and I replied again I bought it online.
Then she just signed and turned to shout at her colleagues and said "These two Chinese" and dismissed us, gesturing us to get on the ride.
Because the ride doesn't stop, and there are people behind us so we didn't think too much and got on the ride.
But whenever I think of it now, I felt quite uncomfortable that she said "These two Chinese" as if it meant something. Not sure if she meant to convey that we're bad at English right in front of us or what, cause I don't think that information is relevant to anything, though if that were the case, that would be even more rude to the Chinese.
Not to mention we are not Chinese, but that's not the point here.
Afterwards, I think the reason she asked is that she wants to know how many rides we have left, and knowing where we took our first ride they could estimate how many customers there are left before they close service.
She could've just asked where we took on the first ride, top on the bottom that would be fine, instead she had to ask an inaccurate question and act like we're idiots when we can't provide the answer she was looking for.
Overall, great ride. I would come back again just to take the ride but I will always remember that racist staff. I can't help but imagine how they treat all the Chinese customers.

Hi, I'm looking at doing this ride with my wife and two teenagers. We are looking at doing the four ride Luge. Would it be best to do this in the evening and eat there as well to make a night of it or do it first thing in the morning to avoid the crowds? Thanks

Is the luge part safe for seniors? I'm wondering if the path's too downhill that it'd be hard to maneuver the luge for them.

The hardest part of the Luge is getting into it. Mobilisation and being able crouch down and up from the luge. We had 70 year old family members do it but ones who had had knee replacements weren’t able to. Depends on the individual. Certainly safe to go down.

Thinking to buy a family of four combo - 3 rides direct from Skyline website. I was wondering if I have a small child age 5, and I need to purchase $3 doubling ticket, do I need to buy 3x$3 or only need one?
Is there any other website to purchase family combo cheaper?
Is the online price is the same with store price?
Thanks

occasionally, shop prices are cheaper than online. especially when they provide promotional prices. and usually for more games, the price offered is cheaper.

How safe is sky ride for kids? It looks like there is no fastener or seat belts. I have 8 yr and 4yr old Kids? Also, Can I just do the luge and skip the sky ride?

It is totally safe - your 4 year old may have to ride with you (I used to take my little girl with me) - the only things you might want to consider are the very long queues - try to pick a mid-week day outside of school holidays!
You have to do the sky ride to get to the top of the luge - it is a little bit daunting getting off for young kids, but it's all part of the fun.
