Large swimming pool. Abit crowded at night but overall good experience. The kids play area have a variety of things to do, will keep your kids entertained for quite a while.

Great family swimming complex but also great if you want to get a proper training swim ...2 x Olympic length pools, one under cover one open air. The under cover always has lane swimming available. You can use your MRT card to pay and need 2 x 20cent coins for lockers. Quite a good single slide and lazy river.

Brilliant venue with the kids and so cheap. Enjoyed the lazy river, wave pool and slides. Not really swanky but also much more affordable than the private pools.

Cons:
- Some of cubicles in the changing room have spoilt locks

Pros:
- Just a few bus stops away from Joo Koon MRT station
- EZLink cards can be used as entrance fee payment
- Open from 8:00AM to 9:30PM at a very affordable price (as low as $2 for adults)
- Changing rooms cleanliness is good, but could still be better
- Nice attractions: 2 big pools (1 is covered), a Jacuzzi, a giant slide, a lazy river, a child-friendly pool and water playground
- Lockers are available for valuables at as small cost (40cents, but need to drop coins for every open/re-close)
- Helpful staff, especially at the entrance

I visited a couple of times for lap swimming and I must say I'm quite impressed. First of all it's really hard to find a sheltered swimming pool in hot, sunny Singapore. You can visit any time of the day without worrying about how hot it is (but you can still get a tan from indirect sunlight). Personally I prefer a cold pool.
There is one regular Olympic size pool under shelter with 1.8m max depth while the other big outdoor pool has a max dept of 0.9m. Each time I visited it is not crowded except for the teaching lanes during swimming lessons. The toilets were clean to me with good running water pressure.
(I have not tried the slides and lazy river yet)
It's a short walk from Pioneer MRT(exit B) and is within a large sports complex (2nd floor) with a gym, a stadium designated for both inline skating and running, and a sports hall. Spacious sheltered carpark and ActiveSG admission available.
A few snack shops and a sports equipment store are there.
Closed on Tuesdays for maintenance and cleaning.

The pool is quite fun.. bt maintenance is poor. The children toilet - more n more cubicles are malfunctioning.. end up have to wait longer for 1 cubicle to bath. Need to do more maintenance to ensure its in tip top condition.

I went there last Saturday with kids. I went to develop a pink eye that evening and my kid had a stomach ache plus diarrhoea! . I still haven't recovered from it (It's Tuesday now). The pool was not busy but it must have been infected! Beware folks!

One of the 50 m pool is under sheltered and this has attracted my visits since 4 months back.

I like this sheltered pool as I am able to swim there any time . Singapore sun is hot !

Bath rooms and featured pool are old and lack of maintenance. Lockers are the old type and frankly, out of date.

Is the sports council liking of fund to maintain this good swimming place?

It is Known also as the Aquatic Centre, this swimming complex in the wild, wild west of Singapore can be found before you even hit the Tuas checkpoint and is near the second last MRT stop on the East West line. Look out for the Jurong West Sports and Recreation Centre building and you’ll be pleasantly surprised to discover the generous pool area located above ground on the second level. There are two 50-metre pools, one of which is sheltered, a lazy river, a jacuzzi, as well as a kiddy pool with a fun play structure. The gentle giant of a three-storey water slide that swirls right past the water playground will draw out the adventurous side of you and the kids.

Lazy river Not! The name might be misleading, even the water level of 80cm can be pretty challenging at certain bends. The underwater current and the overhead water spray means we spend the most time in the Lazy river.

You can rent a float for $5 rent, with $3 refund.
Swimming pool with Lazy river

The Jurong West Swimming Complex Admission Fees are:
Weekdays Weekends

Adults $1.50 $2.00
Children. $0.80 $1.00
Senior Citizens $0.80 $1.00

It was quite boring as there is only 1 slide on for people above 120cm. Then there are 2 small slides for the small kids. Example if your child is afraid to go on the slide, you would definitely want to accompany them but we are not allowed to. The water is also freezing cold.
