After diving with whale sharks at Oslob, my GF and I took a trip to Sumilon. It was 1500 peso for the roundtrip boat ride. Having seen pictures before going to the island I was very excited. Upon arrival the water was the same beautiful blue color as the pictures but the beach was very small and the sand bar... More

We had received a complementary stay at the island as it was fully booked we were offered a tent. And WoooOow, the tent is like a tent of the king during war. It got 2 beds, a cooler - filled with drinks for freee and foods.. It got the over looking fish lagoon as well. And stuff had surprised us... More

This is one of the best islands i've seen. And the way that shades of blue merge with each other, from the shallow waters to the deeper ones, and up to the sky...it was simply breathtaking. The sandbar was filled with pointy shells, small dead corals, and unrefined sand so you better bring your slippers with you when you walk... More

I browse about sumilon island before we went here. I expect a lot of things in tgis island, that it would be the perfect summer get away but unfortunately such a dispointment. We did not check in the resort, we just stayed in the sandbar area and a big dispointment because it doesnt have enough cottages, sharp stones and most... More

If you love swimming, snorkeling and just floating in the waters, this is it! Even though we were there during high tide and didn't pay to go inside the resort, we still loved it. We rented a boat from where the whale shark watching boats are and it cost us PHP1,500 for 4, but cheaper for bigger groups. It was... More

This island is home to Bluewater Resort. Aside from the luscious beach of this island, this is also a good place to trek and explore historical spots

This place is a paradise! I enjoyed the view of the infinity pool overlooking Cebu island, the delicious food, the quiet, relaxing island. The staff were courteous and friendly. The room was so huge and it feels like you own the island because it is so quiet and there's not a lot of people who can go there in one... More

We went to snorkel at the area not far from the sand bar. Very clear water and a good variety of corals. Many beautiful fishes in the area, especially the butterflyfish. I think I counted 7 species of butterflyfish and I was not in the water that long. The sand bar itself is beautiful but it is not very big.... More
