When we arrived, the ambience was immediately felt; from the way we were greeted to the way we were ushered to our villa. The outside views were stunning. The inside view of our villa was breathtaking. Our masseuse were very knowledgable and mindful of our needs. They immediately got us snoring in the first 15 mins of our massage. We loved the rain bath and the hot soak with essential oils PLUS a snack! Banana fritters (turon) and calamansi juice. Beautiful surroundings. As soon as you step inside the property you knew it was going to be something special. The private spa villa assigned to us was beautifully appointed/curated and peaceful. Staff members and Ms. Cecile were professional and sensitive to our needs. Massage skills were on point. We received exactly what we were promised snd exceeded our expectations. Price points on high side so definitely a splurge for us but worth the experience. If you can swing it I’d say do not hesitate. This was one of the highlights of our trip. I highly recommend it and I have been in many spas around the world. My therapist was professional and really knew her job. The ambience, the set up and all the details they care of meant a lot to me. I chose a complex package and after a personal sound healing therapy with tuning forks which was amazing!! Ok first the positive it’s a slightly jaded traditional Far Eastern spa so not a bad environment and the massage was fine
As for the negatives booking, which in my case was done by the concierge at my hotel, is a bit of a to do as they demand payment in advance to protect against no shows, they claim.
I almost decided to use the spa at my hotel but they succumbed however one had to pay upon arrival and before the treatment which really irritated me, their excuse to protect themselves against a credit card being rejected !
Nice touches a cold drink on arrival, a hot tea before the massage and a bowl of flowers under the massage table to look at when facing down but then there was a real mess under the sofa next to me which I could also see
Now the outrageous part of you want a shower either before or after they deduct 10 mins for each from treatment time
As for the shower a far far cry from similarly priced oriental spas. Most the holes in the shower head were blocked and the gel and shampoo were in really nasty plastic bottles with hand written stickers
To sum up the owners have a really cheap
mentality which is totally unacceptable considering they charge almost European prices
So my advice is if you’re in Boracay and want a massage go there but only if your hotel doesn’t have a spa.

Dear Mr Ali Mafi,
Firstly, I want to express our gratitude for your kind words regarding your positive experience with our massage treatments and the ambiance of our spa.
We also extend our sincere apologies for any discomfort or inconvenience experienced and for this, we express our regret.
As a serviced-oriented establishment, it’s our utmost priority to ensure every guest feels valued and respected throughout their visit.
However, I must address some concerns you've raised.
Despite your overall positive feedback, it seems there are some issues you've encountered.
Prior to coming to our spa, we made multiple attempts to reach out to you personally to address your concerns, but unfortunately, you declined to engage in direct communication and did not provide your contact details for us to clarify our reservation procedures.
Secondly, regarding our policy of requiring advance payment, even we all politely reiterate to you that, we've implemented this practice due to many past instances where guests failed to honor their appointments, causing significant loss of revenue for our small establishment. And with only three villas available, each missed appointment represents a missed opportunity to accommodate other potential clients - (who are willing to pay in advance to secure their bookings, or for walk-in clients). Despite our polite explanation of these circumstances, you sir Ali Mafi have shown disregard for the impact of his actions on our business.
Additionally, lots of clients in the past have faced issues with credit card payments, or lacking of cash payments, leaving us in a challenging situation. We aim to ensure fairness and efficiency in our operations, hence the necessity for this policy.
It is important to note that, similar to hotels, airlines, or on-line booking agencies, many establishments require advance payment to secure a confirmed booking. However, unlike these industries, we offer the flexibility for our guests to walk in and pay at the lobby without requiring advance payment, as you did. In spite of our flexibility with you, even you were delaying our checked-in procedure at the lobby, whilst you were on the phone for a long time, we still patiently waited and understand that, it appears that there have been ongoing concerns about payment from the outset, with other establishment, as you sir Ali Mafi expressed frustration with other hotels' payment policies as well.
Furthermore, it's essential to understand that our pricing reflects not only the quality of our services but also the investment in sourcing high quality materials locally and from other countries and creating an architecturally beautiful environment, which you appreciated from the moment you arrived. We strive to deliver a premium experience that extends beyond the treatment itself, and this is reflected in our pricing structure.
While we acknowledge that some clients may have difficulty understanding the rationale behind our pricing, we are grateful for those spa connoisseurs who visited Tirta Spa and appreciate the value we offer, recognizing the significant investment made. They have conveyed that our prices align appropriately with the quality and experience offered, indicating a fair balance between cost and value. It's disheartening to encounter individuals who seek compensation rather than recognizing the intrinsic worth of our services and environment.
Thirdly, with regards of the shower procedure, we did not deduct the 10 mins after your massage. Instead we gave you additional 20 minutes. Once more, if we fail to clarify the shower procedure in advance, many clients opt to remain in the villa and are reluctant to vacate.
It's evident that you Mr Ali Mafi was actively seeking opportunities to find fault and leverage negativity in pursuit of compensation, which is why there was evident frustration regarding the advance payment, as you mentioned in the lobby. Despite our genuine efforts to provide a positive experience and address any concerns they may have had, you sir Ali Mafi’s persistent negativity and refusal to engage constructively indicate a clear agenda to seek compensation through unwarranted criticism.
We strive to accommodate all our guests' preferences and we also take pride in our commitment to exceptional service, while maintaining the integrity in our business operations and practices. Your feedback is valuable to us as we continue to refine our processes and ensure a seamless experience for all our patrons.
While we remain open to constructive feedback, we cannot condone attempts to exploit perceived shortcomings for personal gain.
It is crucial to highlight the disrespectful behavior exhibited by you sir Ali Mafi at the villa and at the lobby. Regardless of our efforts to accommodate all your preferences and maintain open lines of polite communication, Mr Ali’s refusal to engage in direct conversation demonstrates a lack of respect to us owners and for our staff and our business practices. I find it perplexing that despite Mr Ali Mafi’s enjoyment of the spa treatment and the serene environment, he continue to seek out negativity.
Mr Ali Mafi overt hostility towards our payment procedures, coupled with disparaging remarks lowering someone’s reputation about - the owners of the spa “cheap mentality” and his further complains to other establishments on the island, reflects a disregard for professional courtesy. We take great pride in providing exceptional service, and again while we value constructive feedback, we cannot tolerate disrespectful behavior towards our team members as well.
Despite the insults and outbursts experienced at the villa and lobby, we extend our sincere apologies for the inconvenience this may have caused you.

Tirta Spa has one of the most professional spa crews I have ever encountered. The lovely ladies were well-trained and very attentive. The treatment itself was very relaxing and I found myself dozing off a couple of times. What a lovely experience. Thank you, Tirta Spa, for going the extra mile and even putting up a banner for our anniversary. Definitely worth the 5 stars!

It was magnificent. My husband and I took signature massage and it was soo good that we decided to take “head to toe couple massage” on my husband’s birthday. This was my first trip to the Philippines. While on this trip my sister in laws recommended it because they have been to Tirta Spa before and they absolutely loved it. Being the type of person who loves spas, my husband and I decided why not try it! We were greeted right when we stepped to the door, with amazing ambience and a friendly face. We were given an ice tea that had calamansi in it. We were asked which end types of oil we wanted for our massage. We were explained exactly what the smell was and what the benefits it had for the scent. After we filled out our health papers, and picked out oils. We were then escorted to our villa. The villa had such a great ambience that you felt, that you already were starting to relax. We had the Secret potion massage package. It started off with a great foot scrub, I had a wrap, and my husband had a scrub. We were then escorted to the tropical rain shower and a nice aromatherapy bath after. Then we had our amazing massage. What we liked the most was how great they were. On explaining us the process and what was going to happen. They made sure our pressure was okay and that we were comfortable! I definitely recommend going here, if you really want a great experience that you can not get really anywhere else. It might seem pricey but its all worth it.

This was truly the ultimate relaxation experience. The location and building were absolutely stunning. The masseuse was fantastic. My friend and I were pampered by two lovely young ladies who took their time and truly made us feel like royalty. I would definitely love to repeat this experience again.

Is the bath with the flowers only for couples in the royal suite? or is there an option for a solo traveler to enjoy it?

The Flower hot bath is actually part of any packages and can be experienced by single person as long as you will have the main treatment, such as a massage or a body treatment or both. Greetings from Tirta Spa!
Our location is on Boracay Island, Malay, Aklan. It is towards Tambisaan after fire station. You can easily locate us by using Google Map please.
Our foot scrub ritual does not have IONIC DETOX, our foot scrub is to clean your feet using foot scrub and then rinse it with warm water only. It is just a part of the ceremony if you will get a treatment with us, the purpose is for grounding & purification. And this is only complimentary.
