Very small place. You'll be done the tour in about 20 minutes. The animals don't seem to be in proper habitats especially the big birds that are contained to small cages. The big crocodile as well only had a small pool. However, for young kids to hold animals it's a neat experience with snakes, birds, etc.

I enjoy the wildlife expo, I have taken lots of beautiful photographs there cause I can get very close to the animals cages. Also I enjoyed holding the spider and the little crocodile. The the only negative thing is that it is very small I hope in the future they will make it bigger.

We've been there in family, and it was one of the most shocking experience ever!
At the end of the tour, when we arrived close to the birds of prey cages, I heard kittens meowing, loudly...when I told my family and the guide from the wildlife expo that I could hear them, the guide tried everything he could to redirect my attention, to direct us away from where we were; which was definitely very suspect.
After 1 minute of searching, I found a plastic box with holes and a sticker from the wildlife expo (they used it previously to transport reptilians) under a bench, at 2 meters from the birds of prey cages. I took it and put it on the table, opened it, and found 4 kittens, so thin that they were obviously starving and dehydrated.
I turned to the guide and asked him what was that about...he told me that it wasn't his doing, but the owners of the place...they are feeding the birds of prey with starved, alive kittens!!
The guide we were with and us left immediately, taking the kittens to the closest vet.
After looking at them closely, the vet said that the kittens didn't eat or drink for few days and stayed under the sun.
1 died the next day, the 3 kittens left have been adopted and made it.
This is a terrible place to go if you respect life and animals, and the owners should be ashamed. They try to make it look like a very fun place to go, pictures of people smiling everywhere...A SCANDAL!!!!!

We visited Wildlife Expo as part of an "adventure" package booked through our hotel. We didn't really know what we were getting into or signing up for but, had we known, I would have adamantly requested a change in our itinerary.
Firstly, this was a poor excuse for a zoo (or whatever they consider this place). It is literally a bunch of caged animals in someone's backyard. The animals are chained (even if they're caged) and look miserable. The monkey was cute, but it was the only one of its kind. You have to wonder if it had any quality of life at all.
It seems also that all the animals are kept in cages, regardless of weather conditions. It was sprinkling a bit when we arrived and all the animals were helpless to find shelter in their pathetic cages.
Please stay away from this place and don't patronize this business. This isn't a sanctuary at all and I hope local authorities take notice and shut this place down.

Don't expect a lot. Yes, were able to interact and take pictures with the animals, but one thing I notice is that this place is poorly maintained and some animals get aggressive. We started the tour by taking pictures with the parrot which is really fun but as we move along, you can see that animals are not being taken care of properly. Yes, they are on a cage but they are caged for the "show" not to take care of them. This shouldn't be named a sanctuary.

We stayed on Boracay Island for over a week & this was one of the things on my list to do.... Although do you think we could find it? After asking numerous amount of locals as well as drivers we were taken to Mt Luho (was beautiful), but never made it to this place as its very well hidden. So if your wanting to do it I guess do it as a tour otherwise goodluck finding it. To the business need to advertise more, we will be back next time.

first, the TA map shows the expo in the wrong place. it's 20 mins away from there on the other side of the island. second, the place itself is an absolute tip. rubbish, rubble and dodgy walkways. the animals are in tiny dilapisated cages and some are in very poor condition. don't go here if you care about animal welfare. how anyone can say this is a good trip out I simply do not know. it is terrible in so many ways. the ONLY good thing is great views of Boracay from the tower. no other good points at all. not a good experience at all.

I liked it because it was simple, wasn't crowded and you can interact with the animans. They are well looked after, and have a range to see. You can hold birds snakes spider ans baby crocs

We visited Boracay last July 2015, one of the activities we did was the island tour and the wildlife expo was part of this. The staff are very friendly and they have many animals to see and hold if your brave enough ( spiders and huge snakes) it makes for a fun time on the tour.
