Not worth going. It's a strange place. First you have to pay 300 pesos to go into the island otherwise sit on the beach. What's there is a couple of coves which will take a minute each to look at. The resort is actually the abandoned ruins of what was an ill-conceived ambition to accommodate Korean visitors some time back. All there are left are ugly remains of concrete and pebble structures with overgrown vegetation. It's really an eye sore, and I just don't understand why this tacky little island is even included on any tour. Don't waste your tim or money on any 'island hopping' tour on Borocay.

I came here in 1997 when the critically endangered Filipino eagle and other rare birds were in black 3x3 boxes in the baking sun at the top of the island. We were on a working trip and the only visitors to the entire island. It was grim. I see there are reviews here reporting caged birds (including an eagle) as late as 2018. I sent in a full report with photos to the local SPCA, but heard nothing back. I'm following it up, so anyone who took a recent photo of the caged birds if you could post, I'd most appreciate it. Mine are too old to count now. I found some online from 2013 / 14. Our fixer said it was illegal to keep Filipino eagles caged, so I'd like to get it checked out. Illegal or not, the birds looked like they'd given up the will to live when I saw them. It's been decades, but I haven't forgotten. Happy travels.

We stopped here as part of an island hopping tour, and really enjoyed the 90 minutes we had to explore the island. There are 2 coves (be careful on the steep, slippy steps) and a path around the perimeter to explore. Coconuts are for sale for only PHP 70, and there are plenty of spots for photos

if you are in boracay check the island hopping offered by the locals make sure to include Crystal Cove Island in the itinerary ... island hopping rate normally between 600 to 800 pesos per pax which includes buffet lunch

crystal cove view is breath taking , every corner is IG friendly so take most of your pictures while you are here ... u can also dig into a mini cave for a picture remembrance ... it will be a wonderful experience for your friends and family for more wonderful places in PH please visit my FB Page #travelgoalsph

The name Crystal Cove Island sounds amazing. I was expecting to see something extra ordinary, something enchanting, something worth the time... ALL FAILED

We booked this Tour around the island and to Crystal Cove over an agent in front of our hotel (Hey Jude S. Beach). The sales agent asked for 800 PHP (other paid 600 or 1300 PHP... Prices can vary obviously) and promised a lot: no extra cost, delicious lunch, great spots, only 20 people in the boat. In the end we were packed on a boat with more than 45 people, we visited one snorkeling spot (where we would had to pay 60 PHP again), Crystal Cove (extra cost 200 PHP) and not really that interesting because it is backed with people and one beach. The food was disgusting and everything took so long. It is no surprise that this tour should go six hours. We highly recommend you to do something else.

We came here as part of an island hopping tour. The boat dropped us off and it was either come into the island and pay 200 pesos or wait here on this nonswimmable beach.. So we decided to come into the island since we didnt want to sit there for an hr at a beach we couldn't swim in since it was way too wavy and dangerous. There was nothing to do on this island and even checking out the coves it was nothing much of an attraction...

We literally left within 20 minutes of exploring the whole island with NOTHING fascinating thinking how much of a trap this location was. It sucks because people dont have much of a choice.

I don't usually ever find places to be terrible but this 100% was terrible.

The trip to the island was really incredible. You get to see the different sets of island of the so called "Paradise". Our tour guide "PAUL" was really amazing. He's really very welcoming and he does know what he is doing. I even had a small chitchat with him and one thing is for sure you'll never get bored if he's going to be your tour guide. For the island, I would highly recommend it to those who want a serene environment and time to reflect. I even went for a swim and that was perfect, it's crystal clear. To "Crystal Cove Island" TWO THUMBS UP!!!

Crystal Cove Island Resort is, according to rumors is used to be Laurel Island but i found out from DOT (Department of tourism) itself, that it's NOT! it is rather known to be Tiguatian island. anyways, been wandering around Boracay main land, the beach was perfect but as times goes by, more constructions are being built that had spoiled the beauty of the beach and so been wandering here and there, hopping from island to island and GOTCHA! stopped at Crystal Cove Island Resort and it was the most beautiful place ive ever been to. just 10-15 minutes boat ride from the main land, you can witness the real beauty of nature. Everything is preserved and well landscaped to enhance the beauty of mother earth. this is a very captivating and mind blowing adventure. imagine having all the beach activities in just one stop? you can enjoy snorkeling (you provide your own gear), trekking, see the aviary, see the museum (great collections of shells), and what's more exciting is that you can EXPLORE THE 2 TWO COVES the island is popular for but if you're not that adventurous, you can still enjoy your stay and just relax on the 360 degree view of its neighboring island - Romblon, Carabao Island, Sibuyan island which is usually seen on good weather, Caticlan island and of course Boracay island. You can visit www.crystalcoveisland.com for you to have a sneak peak on the place. Boracay escape will never be complete without visiting Crystal Cove Island.... and as their tag line goes , indeed Crystal Cove Island Resort is the best island hopping experience in Boracay to create fun, make memories and build stronger relationships!

they also do ISLAND RENTAL! who would have thought theirs theirs such thing as that? and yes, you've read it right, ISLAND RENTAL.. since its a private island, renting an island is possible! imagine being in a island with your chosen companion? simply amazing!

oh, forgot to mention the price,., VERY CHEAP... $5 / PHP 200.00/head entrance fee.
for the boat, well, that's additional cost, you can book directly to them. i suggest a day before booking or earlier though.
and for food? well, they have mini store where you can find just a number of snacks but if you want a meal, either you bring or pre-order a day before.
