Thanks to the friendly staff of this shiphaus. We just passed here going to Sagbayan thru a motorcycle... and were looking for a restaurant in the road since we felt hungry, but.... thought of a restaurant on the top floor of the shiphaus.. there's no food, only they can offer drinks. But really nice view, just like a real ship. We enjoyed taking photos and thanks to the staffs. No fee rather than a donation for the maintenance. Nice idea to the captain owner of this.

Shiphaus was one of the stops on our Bohol tour.
This "building" was raised from 2006-2011 by a sea captain, Quite amazing to see one man's crazy idea fulfilled through this building.
By appointment it can be rented for overnight stays or venues.
The interior is built to look like a boat, complete with a bridge (which seemed to be a ship simulator, but it was not in operation), various quarters and ship decorations over three stories.
Small admittance fee / donation and a souvenir shop.
It made us smile and was worth the stop.

You can include this in your Day tour in bohol. The house is clean and neat. The entrance fee is Php. 50.00 with free water or juices. You can wear the uniform and cap and they all had many uniforms with lots of sizes. Its good for the instragram. 😊

This place was so much fun. From the beginning, where they welcome you very warmly and get you into the captain uniform and then you can take pictures with different backgrounds. Upstairs you get a free coffee or juice. This place is for spend some fun time by taking funny pictures for a little entrance fee - 50 pesos.
If you have a spear time you should go there.

This place is amusing. For 50 pesos you go into the Shiphaus, don a uniform, and take kitschy pictures while they try to encourage you to buy souvenirs. It is colossally dumb but for the equivalent of a dollar, it is entertaining. Plus they'll give you a free coffee or juice. I think it is a worthwhile amusing little stop and I think it's worth supporting the artists who come up with these off-the-wall concepts. .

Although absolutely it has not much attraction, it gave nice experience to us. The entrance fee includes free drink and shirts rental. And the entrance fee was 50 php per person. After we entered into this, one staff led us, explained what the room is and took many pictures for us. He was so kind and spared no efforts (And one woman who had short hair and worked in the beverage corner on the top did as well). For instance although we were staying the top of ShipHaus, he went down the stairs to take our picture. We spent approximatly 20mins to take a lot of pictures in here, and it was nice experience as I previously stated. Also I think this experience is more suitable for children.

I had never heard of this place until I got there because it was part of the tricycle tour (for which I paid Php 1500 solo). It was surprisingly amused by the concept. The entrance fee is Php 50 and I enjoyed taking photos here than on some of the mi or attractions of Bohol (Python Sanctuary, Butterfly and Bonsai Sanctuary, Sipatan Hanging Bridge).

This is not part of our itinerary but along the way it certainly caught our eye. We stopped briefly to check it out. Shiphaus is a unique hotel and fondly specially designed by its owner Capt. Gaudencio T. Dumapias. It was featured in Rated K and Kapuso Jessica Soho.
For an entrance fee of Php 30/per head, you can enter the Shiphaus, check out the quirky interiors and have fun taking pictures. Upon entry you will be greeted by crew in uniform. You will also be given a crew hat that you can wear while on tour. The ship deck can be used as venue for various occasions. Souvenirs are available as well.

I recently did the countryside tour and asked our tour guide if he could stop so we could take a picture. It's a really great photo opportunity and it gets a lot of attention from tourists.
