Went with a group of friends, it was odd, like living a nonsensical dream but we loved it... couldn’t tell you why it’s great, it’s just is. Lots of silly fun!

When I arrived I was asked to wait, so that the employees could check on the room again. That was OK. However, when I had a closer look in the shower and the bed I found crowds of ants. They were all over the place. They cleaned the room the same evening. However, the ants were still there and the fresh bedsheets were as dirty as the previous ones and it didn't take the ants long to crawl on the "fresh" bedsheets. On the next day I asked them to change the bedsheets and do a deep cleaning of the room. When I returned in the evening, it turned out, that they had done next to nothing. I have never experienced such an extreme ignorance in an accommodation/hotel. The employees guided me through all the rooms of the accommodation. There were ants everywhere. Apart from that, the WiFi didn't work. The rooms are not equipped with fridges. The Shiphaus is next to a road, so the noisy exhaust pipes of motorcyclists can be heard at night. Shouting neighbours make their contribution to the noise. A good idea put in practice really badly. I also suggest to not stay in Batuan because restaurants are poor. You better stay in Carmen or Loboc. Apart from that the rent for the motorcycle was too expensive. In Loboc you get it for 350P per day. At the ShipHaus it's 500.
