This butterfly center is small compared to other butterfly centers I have visited outside of the Philippines. And I enjoyed my visit as much as I did at the larger butterfly places because I like nature. The butterflies are beautiful and the flowering plants are gorgeous and diverse. I was so pleased to see the glass butterfly and the tiger... More

Each group of visitors will have 1 staff to tour you around the place. General infos were shared by the staff and to liven up the mood she also jokes all the time about the fossilized butterflies. After that, were able to see live butterflies. We're lucky because after the drizzle, the butterflies came out flying around the vicinity though... More

I have been to other butterfly sanctuaries but this one was a different experience. The guides were very funny and witty. There were different kinds of butterflies. But the best experience was when they take your photo attached to a butterfly as an illusion that you have wings. They also have live butterfly caterpillars thatyou can hold (not itchy at... More

It is my first time to visit a butterfly sanctuary. Although it is not as grand as I expect it to be ( area is small and butterflies on captivity are not as plenty as I envision), the experience was a pleasant one. Also, the staff assisting the visitors are well informed and very entertaining. Much of my happy thoughts... More

Though nothing special on the place, their individual guide made it more interesting and entertaining. You leave the sanctuary with a smile, and a photo souvenir if you wish to take your selfie with one of the butterflies.

The place is very boring! Nothing new. Entrance fee is 40 or atleast $1. The place is only good for small children who are learning new things. When we went there, there are only few butterflies, I cannnot even recognize one, they were shy (smile!) 😁

All I saw just rice paper butterfly species, another species kind of hard to find and very seldom. From what I read before visiting this place, they said they have 300 species of butterflies, but apparently they have many kind of butterflies or bugs that already preserved and a frame. So they all not a living creatures which make me... More

Thank your for your review. Depending on the guide you get, some guides explain how things work at Habitat better than others. (keep in mind it is summer and we have a lot of part-time students working, and they are doing the best they can) On Bohol island we have over 300 species of butterflies. Here at Habitat, we have...
